    Lola is too funny!

This is book 4 in the Hellfire, Texas series and it features Lola and Daniel. There’s no stopping a determined woman like Lola when she wants something or someone. Her shenanigans were hilarious. This spark might just burn hotter than an actual fire. I can’t wait to read their story in the next Hellfire, Texas book.

A short prequel to Playing with Fire

I usually love a book by Elle James. Because this is a prequel (and very short), I was unable to get the romantic vibe that is her trademark. Don't get me wrong: there is a lot of steam, but it is lust, not love driven. Basically, this book sets the stage for the next book, Playing with Fire. It introduces you to Lola, a lonely widow with her eye on a young fireman, and Daniel, another fireman who sees through her juvenile attempts for attention. As the story continues in her next book, I expect the romance between Lola and Daniel to explode.

Hellfire in Highheels by Elle James

Hellfire in High Heels by Elle James Hot steamy sex with the hunky fireman. Not the fireman she was trying but for he certainly proved “up” for the task. A short (56 pages) and spicy novella prequel that turns up the sexual heat for the next Hellfire series book.

    A great prequel.

Well what can I say but what in tarnation is this....... a cliff hanger, a to be continued dot dot dot. I was shocked. Just getting into Daniel going off to give Lola another ear-bashing and then nothing, zilch, zero. I do hope the next book comes soon. A prequel to their book. Lola likes chance Grayson and does everything she can to get him to come to the house but it’s Flannigan that sort of steps up. Will Lola and Flanagan have a chance, will the age thing be to much or has Flanagan bitten off more than he can chew? Well I guess we have to find out. But Lola is a hell cat in heels though. A great book in the series.

A great read from a favourite author

This is a super fun fast hot read from the very talented Elle James. Lola Engel's has been widowed for 6 years and though she doesn't want another true love she does want a hot passionate encounter with Chance Grayson (yes one of the Grayson brothers) Consequently she keeps phoning 911 on fake call outs Chance is totally clueless about what is going on but his partner Daniel Flannigan has this woman all figured out and decides it is time to teach her a lesson only thing is he gets schooled by this hot as sin older woman This is a super hot prequel and I am now hanging out for the full story in Playing With Fire Daniel and Lola's story
