    Thanks for your feedback!

    So very helpful

A short, simply written, easily accessed text for parents of transgender teens. It was a great comfort to see every single anxiety, doubt, fear, question, concern and resistance I had experienced in relation to my child, addressed in this text. It helped me to realise that I am not unusual or 'bad' in my initial parental emotions and responses. It also helped me realise that self education is a way forward to full understanding and acceptance. Unfortunately, because it is written by a U.S. practitioner, the support groups included are located in the U.S., but websites are accessible world wide. I would highly recommend this text as a starting point for parents of a transgender child and for other significant adults in their lives.
