    ok read

This is a hard one to review for me. I liked the overall premise of the book, after ending a bad relationship a young woman moves to a new town for a fresh start. Shortly after arriving she dis covers she's pregnant. What I didn't like was how judgmental the h, Taylor, was while everyone in town was so accepting of her. The book is well written and the characters are well developed. Not a bad book but not a favorite of mine.

    Trust is a central theme

I’m giving this one 3.5 stars … I’m not quite comfortable with giving it 4 but it definitely doesn’t deserve 3. As you can imagine this story spends a lot of time delving into trust issues. Taylor has had some really bad luck with men and so she’s pretty much at the point of thinking they are all going to treat her poorly. Then when she does meet one that seems like he could be different, he turns out to be an ex-con. Not having known anyone who has gone to jail, she’s pretty much only got stereotypes to go off of. It’s a slow process as Joe shows Taylor what an up-standing guy he is, regardless of a stupid choice in his youth. There is a lot of back-and-forth on the romance side of things as they both struggle with timing and their own histories. I can understand where Taylor comes from on a lot of stuff but Joe really is a good man and he shows it. There comes a point where I think that some readers might be tired of her attitude but luckily she figures things out. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***

    Small Town Romance

A great small town romance with unlikely couple. A single pregnant newcomer and an ex con. Both with trust issues but they learn to over come them. Both are trying to make fresh starts in their lives, and Taylor believes a friendship is all she can give to Joe, but soon that friendship blooms into so much more. I really enjoyed this romance, so much more than romance of starting over and learning to trust. Loved how the small town came together to help, well almost everyone. This is my first book by Lynne Marshall and will not be my last.

    Her Baby, His Love

Her Baby, His Love by Lynne Marshall Taylor, a nurse looked at the picture of him in the paper and it was his marriage to another... Not the first time it happened to her but still devastating. She ends up in Charity Montana to reinvent herself-pregnant and she has a place to stay in. The house she rented is in bad shape but the elderly woman is welcoming-Dixie. Native American Joe her property manager and owner of the nursery and Joe helps ex cons find work under supervision. Love hearing of the nurser and the plants and their attributes. Joe is attracted to her upon sight. Alternating chapters of Joe and then Taylor and their interests as they keep running into one another. Like how she investigates her new surroundings, all stores have woman's first names Love hearing the meditation garden-I can just imagine it and what all the symbols stand for. She opens up to him and he to her as to their past. Her ex is not yet ready to be done with her although he's married. Misunderstandings and you don't know who she's going to end up with, including her own baby...Love Joe's solution although he's staying away from her. Love knitting, don't see that very often any more and religious interjections. Toe ring-just don't get these, like tattoos. Human chain gang, novel idea! Other works by the author are highlighted at the end. Their Christmas Miracle is excerpted and an author bio. Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

    Sweet and Heartwarming Romance

Her Baby, His Love by Lynne Marshall This is Taylor Clark and Joe Collins' story. This is a sweet story about two people who are experiencing struggles in their life. Taylor finds out that she is pregnant and the father of her baby had been secretly engaged and just got married. Joe is an ex-con trying to get a fresh start. Taylor and Joe are attracted to each other but the timing and circumstances seem to be wrong. Can Joe accept another man's baby? Can Taylor handle Joe being an ex-con? I enjoyed this sweet and heartwarming romance. The supporting characters were entertaining as well. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
