  • Great Story

I enjoyed Her Purrfect Match (Purrfect Pairs #1) more than I enjoyed any other book I remember reading written by Robyn Neeley. That is not to say that I didn’t like her other books or the characters. It just that this more quirky than quaint little town of Honey Springs, California was a wonderful diversion from the happenings of 2020. In addition, dogs have become common place in books, some mentioned in this one too but I loved the cat who had a starring role. Cassie Wilkerson is transplanted for three weeks in this story which is not a long time for a story but works because she has a distant past with this place. She also has a short past with Nick Porter who still lives and works on her late aunt’s bee farm. Some of the situations that Cassie was thrust into were a little over the top with me finding it not quite believable that she would be so vulnerable. The relationship with Nick and with Belle the matchmaking cat were right on spot. At the conclusion, the reader gets a glimpse at whom Belle has set her sites on next. Since it is not a brand new newcomer, I expect that pranks won’t seem so unlikely. I look forward to reading it since Bella was a hit for me in Her Purrfect Match. 4.5 Stars An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  • Enjoyable read

Very enjoyable read. This sweet story of rekindled adolescence love was a fun read. The quirky town setting as well as all the towns people made for a wonderful story. The death of an aunt brings back together Cassie & Nick who fell in love as teenagers but were pulled apart by a fight between Cassie’s mom & aunt. Now back for the reading of her aunt’s will Cassie & Nick will have 3 wks to see if they were really meant to be. Recommend to read. Thank you to Tule publishing for letting me read this book for an honest review.

  • A fun start to a new series

This is a beautiful sweet romance that is just sheer escapism I thoroughly enjoyed it and read it has quick as I could as I didn't want to put it down Belle is the cat that Cassie has inherited from her Aunt Etta along with her honey bee farm and job as the town mayor She spent time with her Aunt Etta years earlier before her mother took her to New York and in that time she had a teenage romance with Nick. What she doesn't know is that Nick is her Aunts head beekeeper and he is disgruntled that she left everything to Cassie after promising to leave it all to him after all Cassie hasn't returned in all that time not even for a visit. Wanting to return to her fast paced advertising job Cassie arrives determined to clear up everything before she leaves but when the townsfolk hear that she is cold shouldered Can Nick help her with thew town and will their interest in one another spark again You will have to read to see

  • Sweet Second Chance Romance

A sweet second chance romance that I loved. A small town romance that is set in Honey Springs, California full of quirky residents along with a matchmaking cat. Cassie has returned home after finding out that her grandma left her bee raising farm and the acting temporary mayor. She must hold the position for three weeks. Her high school sweetheart runs the bee farm is surprised the bee farm was not left to him. But soon things might change. Loved this story, with many laugh out moments. Learned many things about bees even. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

  • Lighthearted romance

I really enjoyed reading this book so much. I read it during the time my granddaughter was finishing her last weeks of online school and I actually used parts of the Honey Bee info to teach her some things we did not know. In this book we begin a new series from Author Robyn Neeley we get to know this really cute little town called Honey Springs, CA. Cassie lives across the country and receives notice that her aunt has passed and left her her home as well as her 'honey bees" and more fun things in the will. Once Cassie makes it all the way to Honey Springs from NY she also runs into one of her old friends and crush from time visiting her Aunt...Nick Porter. This book is fun and lighthearted and yes there is a cat who loves to play matchmaker it is too. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.
