    Hidden Killers

I watched all of the Prime Suspect series, and I am really enjoying the early years of Tennisons Police career ....😊

    Well written police procedural.

Good story with several story lines and serious ethical decisions that Tennison in the early years of her career needed to make. Pace of the plot was good and allowed for the development of the main characters.

    Not as good as "Tennison"

I read this almost immediately after reading the first Jane Tennison "prequel" and, I have to say, I was a little disappointed. The Jane Tennison character is fast becoming predictable, as she so clearly has far greater potential than the other police she works with. As with the first book, I had trouble with the author's writing style and addition of so much unnecessary detail. In this book we learn that Jane's mother makes her gravy using the scrapings of the roasting pan and that her father is afraid of breaking his dentures on the hard crust of the creme brûlée. I won't be in so much hurry to reasd the next in the series.

    Tennis on at her best

What a wonderful series of books. Just finished the second one and can’t wait to start the third. Keep them coming Lynda. I feel like I’m “on the job “ with her. I’m enjoying the books very much and I ‘ve already purchased book 4 in the series so I will probably go into withdrawal once I ‘ve finished the fourth book. I do hope you’re working on the next one. Good work!
