    Thanks for your feedback!

    Good but not great

A good effort that carries the Wild Cards universe forward and has some great character moments, maintaining Wild Cards character-driven excellence. However, this type of mosaic novel requires careful editing and it was evident that both George R.R. Martin and Melinda M. Snodgrass were too busy to pay careful attention, because the storyline was marred by some jarring continuity errors, with story and even character details varying dramatically as it went from section to section and author to author. They also made the mistake of having some sections that should have been written by a single author written by several, with jarring switches in viewpoint and mismatching story details every couple of paragraphs. I enjoyed the story and character development, but the editorial technique has to return to what it was in earlier volumes if the series is not to lose its quality and integrity.
