  • Highlanders and Time Travel

I love Angus!! I first read about Angus in the prequel and now he's all grown up. Lila is thrust back in time and falls hard and fast for Angus, however, she keeps holding out for her dream of going back to her own century. She stays because she is a surgeon and Angus's father needs her skills, but is that the only reason she is staying??? I love this book and I need to read the other relatives stories!!!

  • Love Oath, Not Hippocratic

Lila gets thrown back in time. Luckily she was found by Angus MacLeod, Alex and Alana's son. When it's discovered that she is a surgeon, the MacLeod clan requests her help. She never expects that her Hippocratic Oath to turn into an Oath of Love.

  • interesting concept of time travel

Highland Oath a pretty interesting concept of time travel. Fates take a hand and land Lila in the 17th century right when Angus MacLeod’s father needed a surgeon. Soon after Angus become intrigued by the young surgeon and finds that Lila was his destiny. However, Lila is anxious to get back to modern times, but she took an oath and even though she was yanked back in time, she still taken an oath to heal and can’t leave a sick patient. Though she finds the longer she stays in the past she flirts with her not wanting to go back at all. This book was pretty good with a well laid out plot and characters that you will come to enjoy. Even though I didn’t feel the attraction between Angus and Lila I did enjoy the story. I will recommend this story to anyone reader he loves to leave reality at the door and like to explore the concept of destiny can exist in another time or space.

  • Highland Oath

In Highland Oath we see a fully grown Angus MacLeod finally find the woman fate has destined to be his. However, she isn't someone from his time and he'll have to convince Lila to stay in the 17th century. Lila is a surgeon currently working in Scotland. After losing a patient her friends convince her to take a vacation. But she never expected the vacation was going to be life changing. Traveling through time was hard enough to believe, but being told she was fated to arrive when she did, just in time to save the Laird's life? That's a story. Now she has to convince herself and her heart that she can't stay behind just because she fell in love with Angus. I absolutely adored this story. I loved that we get to see how fate shows Lila that she's needed even in a time when she doesn't believe her modern knowledge could be useful.
