    Good

I haven’t read that many F/m books, but I do enjoy them. there is a different dynamic in the relationship. Even more because Jesse os normally a Dom. Both Jesse and Lucy carry scars. one from childhood and the other from a crash. Those scars have had a great impact on their lives and relationship. When they start their relationship things changes and each is confronted with feelings and emotions as never before. And the scenes of them together were very steamy.

    Giving up Control

A Dom falling for a Domme means trouble. But as he is serious about persuing her he puts all his expertise of a dom in pleasing her - and that means he has to become a sub to her. Surprising her with his willingness to give his new position a try both Jesse and Lucy find something extraordinary in their relationship. This book is a wonderful story exploring the possibility of switching position, of being so sure of yourself, that you allow yourself to be dominated by another person - even if your nature makes you a leader. Well-written and with deep characterization.

Love in the Highlands of Scotland

Lucy is Zoey's best friend (characters in earlier Highland books). Lucy visits Scotland to check on her friend when sparks fly between her and Jessie. Jessie is a Formula One race car driver who is on suspension because of an accident he caused while driving under the influence of prescription drugs. While they both have pasts they are trying to overcome, their BDSM needs are also in conflict... they are both Doms. Great story. I like that the author's books continue by developing characters we have enjoyed in previous books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Romance, Gone Full Throttle!!

.Some bad decisions made by our race car driver send his world around the bend, Jesse Noble knows it's time to hole up and take stock. He didn't realize how that one moment in time was going to strip him down to the core of his inner man, alter his purpose. Make him a hollowed out stranger to himself. Funny thing is that the worst thing to happen to Jesse, becomes the best thing for him. How to reconcile the duplicity of that statement brings him to his knees, literally. A proud, seasoned Dominant, Jesse arrives at Mullardoch Manor in Inverness, Scotland. His good mate, Declan McDougal invites him to stay with him and his fiancee, Zoey while he attempts to bring order to his life since the accident. It doesn't hurt that below the manor house is the exquisite Dungeon Fantasy Club. Perhaps a little kinky therapy with a hot subbie is just what the doctor ordered. Nothing feels the same, try as he might, he just can't get into the swing of things. (No pun intended :)) Meanwhile, Zoey Mills, Declan's submissive and bride to be, is in deep turmoil. Her kid sister, Ophelia isn't talking to her, but her bff, Lucy Martin has decided to come to Scotland and haul her back to California. Upon arriving at Mullardoch Manor, she is convinced her friend, Zoey is where she needs to be. All fears allayed, she joins in some of the wedding preparations, and dabbles in the Dungeon Fantasy Club. As a Domme, she looks to find a sub to spend her time with and meets Jesse. Heat surrounds them as they trade banter at the bar. He wants her, she wants him, but both being Dominants is a recipe for disaster. Like two poles of a magnet that should never mesh, they size one another up. Who will submit? It's crazy, and yet...so enticing. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the passion and genuine journey of two wounded people who together make one complete soul moved me.

Lucy is Zoey’s best friend and she flies to Scotland to put some sense into her friend’s head. However, she sees her friend with Declan, she knows it is a lost battle. Jesse is a Formula One racer who had an accident under the influence of some painkillers and as a result of it, he got a partner disabled for life. This is my favourite book by Anya Summers so far. The book is different from the others because this time both of the main characters are Doms. It is difficult to surrender and lose control in favor of the other person. It is good to see how they fight with themselves and their need of controlling. A great series to read for lovers of BDSM.
