    His Love

*Note this book is His Love (see photo), not His Kiss as listed. I really loved the setting and the general good, happy feel I got when reading His Love. All of the characters were a lot of fun, and the hero and heroine were easy to get to know. Jennifer's descriptions of Gavin, and his accent made him so easy to picture and hear in my mind. A little bit of Ireland in New York! I really liked him as a hero because even though he has been hurt badly in the past, he's not letting it hold him back, and he's not using that as an excuse to never be with a woman again. Even if he's only having what is supposed to be an unexpected summer fling, he doesn't hold back or hide from his feelings. The almost instant attraction between Toni and Gavin is fast, but believable. I liked Toni. I liked that they didn't hide from themselves or each other what they were feeling. I really liked the relationship that developed between Toni and Gavin, their honesty, openness, the things they did, and the sense I got that the two of them just got each other. I was very compelled to keep reading to see what would happen when Gavin went back to Ireland and if they'd manage to keep their relationship as a no strings summer fling. I really enjoyed the secondary characters in His Love. They added a lot of extra flair to His Love, especially Gavin's sister. Nobody over thought things or unnecessarily turned things into a bigger deal than they needed to be. His Love is all about summer, love and moving steadily forward in life. Well paced, entertaining and feel good, I'd recommend His Love to any romance reader looking for a book easy to fall into.
