This is the second time reading this book, and it is as refreshing as it was the first time! I loved it!

    A must read!

Cynthia Wright’s books never fail to be fantastic reads, and this book even more so than most. I loved that the book changed locations, that the characters were so intriguing and the pace of the story was perfection! Our hero Nathan was a very reluctant romantic which made Adrienne’s tenacity all the better! You cannot go wrong to read this book. Highly entertaining with well rounded characters, lots of romance, some humour, and just great story telling! Although it is part of a series, it is a great stand alone read!

    True Love Transcends All Barriers

This book was a page turner from beginning to end. I loved it on multiple levels. Firstly the story that focusses on true values rather than external superficial characters. This particular story took me back to my own grandparents who left homes where they had been raised in privlege (large shipping family) in Glasgow and Manor House in Devon respectively to seek a life in the new world. They were both highly educated but never wanted to return home or have much contact with their relatives. Given their own stories, this book was definitely believable . Some of the old world language was fun to see in print. As I was raised by my grandparents with my grandmother speaking a mix of Gaelic and English and my Grandfather teaching me Esperanto which he felt would be a universal language moving into the future, it was quite a shock when my grandfather wrote in my autograph book when I was in high school "All those questions cames as from a babbling brook and to answer them all, I must confess, the truth I often quite forsook". The discovery of the truth as an adult has been a real eye opener.

    His Reckless Bargain

Fun. A taste of the limits by which women employed as companions lived. Exotic descriptions of Barbados and plantation life during that period.
