  • Amazing Start to Trilogy!

Judge, Judge, Judge Where do I start?? I will start with the way Mercedes behaved like a evil princess in the Society Trilogy will show you not everything was as it seemed. Judge is suppose to "tame" her but what she gets is not what she was expecting from her brother's best friend. I have mixed feelings and he's someone you will hate to love. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds. There is one character that you will want to strangle on site. What will Judge do to win me over because my heart was in turmoil reading this book. Ashleigh and Natasha have done again! You will be hooked. Her Rebellion is next book and I can't wait to devour it!!

  • Bad guys need love too!

It is always a treat when the villains in one story get their own stories! Judge and Mercedes weren’t the nicest people from what we have seen of them, but we get a look behind the veil, so to speak, as to why. They have chemistry, but know they can’t act on it. Being forced together doesn’t help with that, and soon they submit to it. Those tendencies that we didn’t like, they pop up with each other, but they are more than evenly matched. It is when the feelings neither of them want develop that the real trouble begins. Ending a cliffhanger, the start to this trilogy will have you wanting more!

  • "For one to win the other must lose"

Holy goddesses I can't catch my breath! "A battle of wills. Two beasts with our jaws on each other's jugular. For one to win the other must lose." Judge did this to himself Seriously he is so hades bent on believing it he actually creates it - nurtures it even I was pretty sure nothing and I mean nothing short of her divine resurrection would get me to forgive, moreover feel sorry for Mercedes I did And I do And the backstabbings just keep on coming I'm laying blame at her brother's feet as well for what is happening He placed her in Judge's care to "correct and protect" That's is so not what is happening to her at Judge's tender hands In many ways maybe, they are doing her a favor Driving home a truth she has always held and now will never forget Reminding her of her place in their world - One she will never accept No matter the cost she will be free Question is - How much of Mercedes will be left? I need to know what happens next something fierce This left me hanging by bloody nails on a cliff and looking beyond there is nothing but jagged rocks to tear me further apart

  • Lush, seductive & sinfully decadent

Lush, seductive and sinfully decadent, this dark, intense and twisty romance is a tempting indulgence that I fully intend to luxuriate in. The burn is sultry and slow but the sparks flying are incendiary. I found Judge & Mercedes quite captivating. Their dynamic, their chemistry and the underlying almost elemental pull of attraction between them has me captivated and invested. This book definitely gets things off to an epic start and since it is only book 1, yes there is a cliffy (That Stuns!) and I can't wait to see what happens in book two! If you are a dark fan, you must check this out. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

  • Fantastic Story!

I’ve been dying for this trilogy since I first met Mercedes in the Sovereign Sons trilogy, and I’m happy to say that I was not disappointed in the slightest. In fact, this story was so much better than I could have expected. I wanted so badly to hate Mercedes. She came across as such a horrible person in those previous books, but there are layers to this woman, and I can’t help but cheer for her as I get to know her and her strength. The authors make her come to life, and I’m scrambling through her puzzle, trying to figure her out. I love Judge, too! He’s so much, and exactly what Mercedes needs. I love watching him struggle with his undeniable feelings for her as he fights to do what he thinks is right and what he has been asked to to. There’s a huge dysfunctional family element in this story as well, and I love how the little breadcrumbs are woven throughout the chapters. The ending had my heart racing and I’m dying for the next book!
