A Propaganda Victory With Few Peers

It is not what you know that is the problem, it is a combination of what you think you know that was never right to begin with. Fighter Command, quite sensibly, went looking at emerging threats to Britain and to itself, and got decoyed by the Dark Master of Propaganda himself. This incident should not have been forgotten, however, as it serves as a precautionary tale that is as relevant today as ever it was. They wanted to believe it was real. A good read, and an impressive warning.

    An interesting topic well described

Leonard James has provided an enlightening account of a relatively obscure topic. I possess an aircraft recognition book dated 1940 which lists the He 113 and presents it as a factual aircraft in German service. Although it is well known that this w a figment of the propaganda machine, the background is fascinating and the author is to be congratulated on his efforts
