    Great Ending!

Hold Me Down is the fourth installment of Shari Slade's The Devil's Host MC series and I think it is her best one. It picks up right where the third one left off and gives us all the answers we are seeking. I think the ending was a great one and was worth waiting for!

Great ending to an exciting serial!

Hold me Down is the fourth and final installment of the sexy and intense Devil's Host MC serial. I recommend reading them in order, as this one continues directly where the previous one left off, and isn't meant to be read as a standalone. There was a wait for the last part of the story, but all parts are available now so you get the benefit of being able to read one after the other. Star's life since meeting Noah has turned upside down. Once a waitress at a crummy cafe, she's now fully ensconced in Noah's life, the MC enforcer she met at her old job, where she ended up becoming part of his life to fulfill a blood debt. He's shown her a rough and tumble lifestyle to date - and what it means to be the sole focus of a man like him in bed. A lot has happened in a short time at the club, including power struggles, betrayals and now, a single minded focus on a rival MC, with the kidnapping of Noah's sister. Star's the one with inside knowledge now, knowing who is behind the action and she's hell bent on getting to Noah with the information in time. I've really enjoyed watching Star go from a frightened and beaten down woman to a tough and confident one. Noah's been a surprisingly positive influence on her life, making her feel wanted and needed even if not done in the most conventional way. In this last part of the story, we see her having the strength to take desperately needed action to help save Noah's sister. Noah comes across a little bit softer in this one, at least in his attitude towards Star. This is due to the connection between them, that at the start was driven by lust and now is because he loves her, and isn't afraid to tell her so. I liked the way all the loose ends tied up and there are certainly enough secondary characters to make some good follow up stories. 4 stars for this installment, and the series as a whole.

REview: The Devil’s Host MC 4: Hold Me Down

Drive Me Wild by Shari Slade is the fourth book in her four-part serial, Devil's Host MC. All parts are now available for purchase if you are NOT a fan of waiting after a cliffhanger to see what happens next! Picking up where book three, Drive Me Wild, left off, Noah and Star are teaming up to rescue Noah's sister from a rival biker gang. They have a plan set and everything seems fine but did they get all the traitors when Noah killed Dev? If not, their best laid plans may just go awry. Tying up a lot of loose ends and providing Star and Noah with their happily ever after, I loved this book and this series. The journey they take to get there is fraught with danger and death and almost no-one is safe, but I really and thoroughly enjoyed the heck outta this series!
