  • The Love In Here! Good Series - Good Writing!

I loved that the minute I started reading the book, everything from “Pushing You Away” came right back to me. Even though it hasn’t been too long since I read book that first book, I was a little nervous that I would forget some things; considering I read SO many books each month, I was thrilled it all came back. Noah’s hospital experience and his family rallying around to look after him was a great beginning. Let me just add this...be prepared for the "enjoyment" these two people experience in chapter 5! Whew... The writing in chapter 14 was my favorite. I know this is a fictional story and meant to be light and uplifting and HEA focused, the emotional elements of Noah’s legal troubles were beautifully written. The way his stages of emotional grief – essentially – coupled with his pain and thoughts about prison was so poignant. The element of getting through something so difficult and having to consider the way it affects family and others is such a real situation. I loved how true and real and relatable this was. The book is wonderful and I love how other people were included in the story to set me up for the stories coming next. It makes the lives of the people in this story less “singular”, so to speak. It lets you know that this group of people is not the only people in this “town” and they have relationships with other people that they care about. Simply a wonderful story; not just happy about the HEA that comes but so glad Noah gets his life back after being taken away for an accident that he didn’t even start or really cause. So glad I read this book!

  • Loved it

5 Star Holding You Close (Ex-Con Duet #4) by Kennedy Fox Holding You Close picks right up where Pushing You away finished so if you haven’t read that book then you need to STOP and read that one first as they must be read in order. I love friends to lover’s story and this book was just as riveting as their first book. Holding You Close was an entertaining read and is the conclusion to Katie and Noah’s story. It was also one I read through in almost one go as I simply could not put it down. This is an emotional roller coaster of a read, it is a story that built slowly, with some angst, drama, mystery and suspense; it was well written. Their journey was not without bumps but it was worth it. I freely admit to tears on occasion and I cannot wait for the next book.

  • absolutely in love

After reading Holding You Close by Kennedy Fox I have only one thought. Every woman needs a Noah in her life. And every man needs a Katie for him. This story is THE definition of true partnership and undying devotion between two soulmates. This gorgeous love story will take you on a rollercoaster of swoon, steam and suspense. ( I reviewed an early copy voluntarily)

  • Sheer perfection!

Ahhhh I love how Kennedy Fox leaves us begging to get to the second part of the duet. With Needing You Close, you get more than just the drama and what has been causing all the headaches and heartache but you really get a sense of being for these two. How they grow as a couple. I mean, don’t get me wrong, those twists and turns were utter perfection as it flowed perfectly with the story but it was so much more. There was such emotion and raw pain through this book because of that one night and how it had this ripple effect. I was SURE someone was tied with it all but dang nabbit, I was wrong. Then I got my hopes up for something, then smashed! Still lookin at you Fox for that one. Overall, this was a beautiful ending to this duet. The connection between Katie and Noah is just everything. They just flow. And make so much sense together. Even with the tragic history, these two are just perfection for each other. I swear, Fox loves to keep us on our toes and I am DYING to get my hands on the next duet with Everleigh and Archer!
