  • Edge-of-your-seat reading with tissues for tears

I loved Hope herself, her courage, her determination, even her ability to walk away from Jangles after … well that would be a spoiler, and you don’t want that. While this is the final of the Delta Team Three series, it can be read as a standalone. If that’s what you do, though, you’ll be desperate to know the other stories too! This book was typical Riley Edwards. There is heat, there is emotion, and most of all there is suspense. It has the added bonus of cameos from Tex, Ghost, and Delta Team Two, but it’s the characters here that get into your head and heart and won’t let go – like BF, who took Hope in and empowered her to return to the woman she was meant to be – and who threatens Beau when he … nope, not going there again. It’s enough to say that this should be a one-click, both for Riley Edwards’s writing and for the Stoker world, and you won’t regret that click.

  • Emotional Read

Hope’s Delta is the fifth book in Delta Team 3 and written by Riley Edwards. This is the latest series in Susan Stoker’s Special Forces: Operation Alpha Fan-Fiction. The book focuses on Beau “Jangles” Talbot, a Delta Team member, and Hope Mitchell, bartender and manager at the Ugly Mug. This book is action packed and very very emotional. I cried like a baby more than twice and was ready to do some harm to someone even though it’s fiction. Hope’s Delta has an evil terrorist, Delta members on a mission, our helpful old friend Tex, a woman who can’t forgive herself for things she didn’t do, a crazy veteran who is Hope’s boss/pseudo father/mentor, a man who breaks a promise, some steamy hot scenes and hope that love can win.

  • Super Thriller

I received this book as an ARC. This is the fifth and final book in the Delta Team Three series. And what a book it is. This is Beau and Hope’s story. Beau doesn’t want to fall in love until he is out of the Army. But Hope changes his mind. Hope has had such sorrow and guilt in her life she also wants no commitment, no love and no happily ever after. But Beau changes her mind. Then the excitement begins. All five women of the Delta’s are kidnapped and the team steps into action. Nobody messes with a delta’s woman. I loved

  • Promises...

Hope Mitchell story is a heartbreaking one. What happened to her will surely leave anyone broken. Putting up walls and avoiding personal relationships comes naturally to someone who has been through tragedy. But then she meets Beau “Jangles” Talbot. They have the perfect friends with benefits relationship. No personal questions. No heartwarming conversations. Just an mutual beneficial relationship. Then things change and lines are crossed. Promises are made and after a dangerous encounter with the teams longtime enemy, Beau panics and breaks his promise. Will he realize his mistake before all is lost? Will Hope be able to see past the hurt and open her heart to Beau? I enjoyed this book and was hooked from the first chapter. Lots of heartbreaking and heartwarming. Loved it. Can’t wait to read the rest of the team’s stories. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
