  • Inside the mind of an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident

Very enjoyable and interesting book. Lots of detail about being an Orthopaedic resident at Mayo Hospital over four years. Dr Collins shares the ups and the downs of being a resident, and his relationships with the other residents and with his family. He seemed to enjoy the years of learning and working, but it was really hard. He pushed himself to learn. During this time he and his wife had small children and very little funds for running their household. So it was a struggle. Dr. Collins writing makes you feel like you’re right in the midst of the narrative. Great book.

    Thanks for your feedback!
