  • Warm, realistic, and wonderful!

Oh, wow! Depth, heart, hope! Teresa Reasor has done it again with Hot SEAL, Taking the Plunge. This round of SEALS in Paradise is dedicated to the ultimate commitment! Multidimensional characters that readers fall in love with are the hallmark of Ms. Reasor's writing and Hot SEALS, Taking the Plunge is just one more proof of her talents. For Riley and Eric that journey may be blocked by the secrets they each hold. From the day Riley crushes Eric's Indian, and a piece of his heart, she is amazed at how kind, generous and interested he is. The fact that he didn't at least scream at her for damaging his beloved motorcycle proves that he is a better man than the ones she has dated. She can't help being drawn to him for so many reason but she has a big problem. Her father is a Navy Admiral who spent his early career as a SEAL, and he isn't likely approve approve her forming a serious relationship with one and there is no telling what he might do. Their story is told in a few key flashbacks to reveal why she is hesitant to tell Eric who her father is. Eric's secret is big for him but is more personal and less of a game changer when he reveals it. The presentation style offers us big news almost from the very beginning. This couple who dated for about 6 weeks and talked once a week for 8 months are about to have a baby, one that Erik knows nothing about. Watching this awesome twosome reveal and react to the big news feels as if members of my family are going through this tough situation. I pre-ordered a personal copy of the book but when Ms. Reasor was ready for ARC readers I was probably first in line shouting, "Me! Me!" and I will be shouting about it until everyone I know and any followers I have understand that the newest SEALS in Paradise is a great read. I have been a big fan for several years and I am still amazed at the wonderful and varied tales she brings us.
