  • House of Dragons blew me away!

House of Dragons blew me away! I will be completely honest and tell you all that I have never been interested in this type of magical, fantasy dragon-esque type of story line. However, K.A. Linde has a way of writing that has now changed my mind forever. The story takes me by surprise in the beginning when I am immediately intrigued with who Kerrigan is. That had me hooked to find out more about her and what journey she would take me on. The journey I have now gone on was filled with magical mayhem, dragon games, friendships, love, sexual tension and a political/social freedom vibe. You are at one point cheering for Kerrigan and then another where you are scared for her. I was always waiting for what was next. Then as always I would be surprised for the turn of events. If you are apprehensive like me with the genre of House of Dragons. I beg of you to give it a chance. You will be forever changed and eager for more just like me.

  • Gripping and Fast Paced!!

4.5 stars... House of Dragons is the first book in K.A Linde's new fantasy series Royal Houses!! We have already come across House of Dragons, Alandria and Kerrigan Argon in the Ascension series. Kerrigan Argon, Dragon Blessed, Half-Fae is under the care of the house of dragons, after being abandoned at their door step at the age of 12. In a world where a Half-Fae is considered to be unworthy of living by some of the Fae population, Kerrigan is Brave, smart and Relentless... Despite the discrimination, Kerrigan is nothing but determined to earn her place in the SOCIETY, by getting selected to one of the tribes of Alandria.. However, when she is not selected by any tribe, Kerrigan strikes a bargain with the society. She has to assist in the dragon tournament along with proving herself to earn a place in the society.. Fordham Ollivier, the cursed Prince from House of Shadows enters the dragon competition. Hailing from the house of shadows, Fordham looks down upon Kerrigan as she is a Half-Fae. However when Fordham gets to know more about Kerrigan, his view of a Half-Fae changes and eventually they become strong allies.. What starts as Kerrigan's determination to earn her place in society, turns into something more dangerous with the discovery of her special powers and magic.. House of dragons is a fast-paced, full of action fantasy read with perfect amount of mystery and magic!! I loved Kerrigan and Fordham.. I love K.A Linde's writing. And her fantasy books are absolutely amazing. With that surprise ending, I cant wait to read the next book in this series..

  • Strength of the Half-Fae

K.A. Linde has given us another wonderful story in her worlds of fantasy. House of Dragons brings you fantasy, magic, and wonder. Strong women are highlighted in Linde's fantasies and I can't help but be in awe of the strength she gives them. Makes me want to be half-Fae! Thank you, KA for another amazing read, I can't wait for the next installment!

  • Great fantasy read!

So fantasy is not usually my thing. Unless K.A. Linde writes it. I loved her Ascension series so I was stoked to learn of this new series! And I was not disappointed. This book has it all. Mystery, magic, adventure, intrigue, a cast of amazing characters, and dragons! I was swept away into this world and enjoyed every second of it. Kerrigan is simply awesome. She’s unapologetically herself. She’s strong and fierce and determined. I just loved her. And broody Fordham, something about him just draws you in. I loved the relationship between him and Kerrigan. This story is complex, but not difficult to follow. K.A. Linde can paint a beautiful picture with her words and I felt like I was watching this book play out in front of my eyes. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
