This is book #3, in the Arden St Ives series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To avoid spoilers, and to have a complete understanding of this series, I recommend reading this series in order. Arden is trying hard to move on. He knows he will always love Caspian, but he cannot be with someone who does not want him there. He goes about his life as if this is how it will be from now on. Caspian will always love Arden. He just made up his mind to go another direction. When the worst happens, can he walk away from someone he loves who is hurting? I expected to hate this book. I was so invested in these characters I hated to see them apart. So how grateful was I as I read further and further along and was excited to see them show how they could be in each others lives in other ways. What an amazing story and a terrific ending! ***This copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers, in exchange for an honest review.

  • Perfect ending to series

I loved this third book in the Billionaire series so much!! If you haven't read the first two, you NEED to read them in order. Arden is such a joy -- so kind and caring even while his heart is broken. I really enjoyed George and what she brought to this story. There is so much more than romance here. The characters are treated with such care. It touches on ableism, consent, dealing with past trauma, understanding sexual desires. And then there are so many literary and cultural references that made my heart sing, like Star Wars, and how they connected Caspian to his past and to Arden. It's just so well written and crafted and I'm sad my time with these characters has come to an end.
