How to Stop Acting: a Gem!

Just when I thought I was about to start acting, in earnest, I read Guskin's "How to Stop Acting" on the advice of an acting coach. Staying open to the character's and ones own evolution, seem paramount to giving the best one can as one acts-not acts. There are many different ways to desired ends, but it seems the greatest gifts in this unconventional approach come from being...from breathing, from releasing, from boldness of self-exploration/growth, resulting in optimal output. And apparently, if one achieves this, one is not acting, per se: Sounds wonderful and worthy of implementation!

    Brilliant.

This is an absolute must read for any aspiring actor. Guskin somehow makes one truly believe they can be an actor!
