    I Loved It

Lady Elsinore Cosgrove is the youngest of a large family, and dislikes always being treated like a child. She longs for adventure and has a habit of getting into situations that her parents disapprove of. Curiosity might be more dangerous than she thought. Baron Quin Graham has come to London to find someone without clan ties that can investigate the threats he has been receiving. The deaths of his family have left him unable to trust anyone. The last thing he is looking for is a new bride who could also be in danger. An amusing, sweet, and adventurous historical romance. It has lovely characters and an intriguing story. I loved it.

    Delightful story

An adventure almost from the first page when we find the heroine, Hippolyta, oops, I meant Elsinore Cosgrove caught in an unusual situation at a ball. Our hero, Quin Graham saves her, well yes, in more ways than one as fate would have it. The youngest daughter of a duke, Elsinore ends up marrying gorgeous Scot Graham and hopes to make him fall in love with her. Oh and from advice from a training guide for hunting hounds she hopes to mold him into the perfect husband! This story is full of humorous moments and if mischief can happen, Elsinore is right in the middle. But there is a serious side as we find Graham trying to recover from many loses and never had he intended to remarry. As they travel to his home in Scotland, things begin to unravel and there is a mystery to be uncovered and enemies to be found. This was a delightful story that I could not put down until the end. I look forward to more by this author and hope the wait is not long!

    Loved this book

I loved this story of Elsinore and Quin, who is Lord Graham. They met at a ball while she was caught in a guillotine, a small one. They were found in a compromising situation and were married. Elsinore wanted adventure in her life and love, but how can she get him to love her. Books are the answer, one naughty and one on training hounds which seemed to work well for Lord Graham. There's something strange going on with Quin and his household. He has secrets that he has been carrying for months. There's rumors and gossip, but he won't share the reasons. Adventure and possibly death follows Elsinore. Will Quin be able to protect her and will be learn to love her? Great book with adventure and love. I received this book from Net Galley and Entangled Publishing for an honest review and no compensation otherwise.

    What fun!!

What fun!! Elsinore - She is one of those characters you can't help but love. She is a bit immature and definitely in need of a time-out, at times I can not help but question how she survives day to day. Being the youngest in the family gives her an acceptable innocence that seems to lend to her ability to find trouble in the most neutral of situations. Quinn - I both loved and loathed his character. He is desperately looking for answers to a problem that has darkened the hallowed halls of his home. He is weary to trust but understands and acknowledges that duty will always come first. He will meet his societal obligations, clear his name and ensure that his royal house has an heir. He will NOT fall in love, he will never be duped again. Between the two of them, this story is ripe with humor and mishap - suspense and romance. If there is a possibility of trouble befalling them, Elsinore will ensure they find it.

    A historical romance funny,intriguing.fast paced .

Elsinore just wants to have some adventure. Not conform to what society says she must do how she must act. She doesn't want marriage and neither does Quin. But after being found in a compromising position they find themselves engaged. Both of them have very different ways they plan on handling this arrangement. Quinn thinks he can just ignore her. And she thinks she can train him to be the husband she wants. This story has so many facets that you don't want to put it down. I enjoyed the humor and the characters were so well developed. You get so caught up it that you don't want to put it down. It's funny, mysterious, and intriguing. In this her debut Diana Lloyd really hit’s the mark. I will be waiting for her next adventure with the love story mixed in. I was given a copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
