  • Mega Feels, Emotions, Sweetness & Sparks

I fell wicked fast and super hard for Hunter and Alice. I loved book one of this series and can't even really believe that somehow book two managed to be even better, but I swear it was. This is in fact only my second book by this author and I am stunned by what I've been missing. I find the writing extremely well done and the reading is smooth and easy. I was quickly pulled into the unfolding story and its brewing romance and my attention and my heart were totally captivated. Alice and Hunter are smartly crafted and nicely layered characters that connect quickly with you and have your heart just aching for them. The chemistry here is in my opinion, is a perfect balance of sparks and sweetness. Trust me when I tell you that the feels and emotions are mega. While I think you could read this book as a standalone, I highly recommend you read these books and in order. While each entry in this series focuses on its featured couple, there is an overarching story in play. So, characters reappear and previous events are referenced. This book and this series are incredible and I for one cannot wait for book three. If you like your PNR with humor, action, danger, sizzle, heart and big twists, you must read this series. This is my frank, freely posted review.

  • Fantastic Addition!

Hunter’s Hope is a fantastic addition to the Vampire Motorcycle Club series! Hunter Evans is a former human firefighter who was turned to a vampire to save his life. Alice Darlington can see and speak with ghosts and also communicate with animals. For most of her life, Alice has been in an institution that was after her powers but she was able to escape and is in hiding while running an animal shelter. She runs into Hunter Evans while chasing a raccoon and he is fascinated by her so he follows her home (funny times with that). Because Alice has no real world experience, she is cautious but she ends up trusting Hunter. It turns out the people who are after her are also after Hunter’s friends. Can they stop the lunatic that is after Alice, what does the pirate ghost want and why do Ryan and Alice want to jump off the roof? Any book Alyssa Day writes is a must read for me. She always brings lots of humor, great action, a bit of steam, and heart-warming friendships that give you the feel good story you crave. I highly recommend this book.

  • Vampire Firefighter Biker!!

Vampire Firefighter Biker!! I have to say the first book in this series was not this authors best book in my opinion. This second story was so much better. I loved Hunter and Alice together and as individuals. Charlie was adorable and I’m glad he ended up being on the good side. There was lots of great character interaction that really kept this story moving along. “Did I mention that Edge has a Ferrari?” He shot a grin over his shoulder at Edge. “And that I’ve never driven a Ferrari before? I hope the dragon is potty-trained.” The Ghost Lady turns out to be much more than the vampires bargained for. Together they are in a fight for of there life. Hopefully we won’t have to wait long for the next book.

  • Outstanding Paranormal Romance

Hunter's Hope is a fantastic paranormal romance by Alyssa Day. This is my first read by this author and I didn't bother reading the blurb, so it was a great surprise. I don't usually read vampire paranormal, but honestly, this one grabbed me right away and I read it cover to cover with a short break to grab lunch. Ms. Day has given us a well-written book. The characters are spectacular and just plain fun. Hunter is a newly turned vampire and bumps into Alice and her racoon at a hotel. Alice has her own little quirk, she talks to ghosts and communicates with animals. Hunter and Alice's story is packed with drama, laugh-out-loud humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Alyssa Day in the future. Hunter's Hope is book 2 of the Vampire Motorcycle Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  • Entertaining book

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was steamy, snarky and funny. It held my interest and I didn't want to put it down. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #2 in the Vampire Motorcycle Club series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others by this author.
