  • So vivid that I felt like I was there!

Well, let's just say that I am a little slow on the up take! It took me a few beats to draw the line between Leo and Ruby. And not that they would have a wonderfully sweet adventurous relationship. But that Leo is part of the Devil's Set treasure hunters and Ruby...well a jewel!!! Any way, enough for my ineptness. This was such a fun read. So much fun that I was a little miffed with the author! I mean, I had things to do! The storm was coming, preparations needed to be made and I could NOT put this down. Fast paced with so many twists and turns, there was no place that I thought I could pause. Ruby, crushed by a recent life event, decided to take a break from the real world...and see the world...have a little adventure. Everything she thought she lost was found in spades but not without a few bumps along the way. Then there's Leo. ( pause for long sigh) Ember Casey does a masterful job creating word pictures that allow you to feel like you are on site and in the scene. If you are looking for action, adventure, travel, and love, this is the book for you. Easily five stars!

  • Hunting His Jewel

Fabulous story! What a great treasure hunt this series is. Leo and Ruby are a great team. The writing is so vivid and colorful. The author must have been to the places she writes about. Made me feel like I was there too...minus the sea sickness on the boat ride. Definitely recommend.
