    Great story

I'll definitely keep reading the series, the first few books were really exciting. Keep up the good writing!

Best book series I have read in a long time. I stayed up late to finish reading the novella. Starting Fates after this review.

A great bland of myth and fiction

What I love with this series is that though based on Norse mythology it shows that over time every telling of a story gets twisted. What we think is Norse mythology is not always true.

    My escape!

Once I started reading the first book I was trapped into a story and characters that are I really like and stories that pull me out of my world and into another that I never want to end. I love these books!

    intriguing, fun yet dramatic

The god of mischief Gockel introduces us to, in this series, is more chaos that mischief. So much so that even he has difficulty finding his balance, even with the possible equilibration by influence of Amy, just a normal person passing through the world.... maybe! The idea of the nine realms, glimpsed through hints of myths, legends and fairy tales in one of these (the realm inhabited by the chaotic, non-magic humans) is an interesting interpretation of dimensions - time? space? both? neither? Of course, these three parts of the 5 part whole can only lead to ... absolute necessity to follow the story to the end (or the next beginning?). Personal pathos, brought out through family relationships between the gods as well as the humans involved, keeps the reader almost angry with the outcomes never coming out properly, but that is the best part of the story! And hints of reasons behind Nordic myths are well thought out and portrayed.
