    Thanks for your feedback!

    Wow.

I'm Thinking of Ending Things draws you deeper and deeper into the story and you are just on the verge of figuring out the mystery. When you get the final piece of the puzzle you'll want to go back and read the story again with your new knowledge. I thought about it for days after I finished it and it still haunts me.

    Awful

What a terrible book. I'm left completely confused. Maybe that's the point? I don't know but it's time I'll never get back.

    So so

Great until the end. Downright terrifying until the end. I was so confused by the ending that I needed to google what the ending meant.

    Can't say enough

I found it very hard to put this book down. Absolutely loved it! Been a very long time since I read a book that grabbed me right from the start.

Tense, chilling but amounts to little else.

While I enjoyed the atmosphere crafted in the first half which was in a word: unsettling, what really kept me interested was the meditiation on isolation, loneliness and modern relationships. The book lost me, then at its turn, and this specific twist is now a pretty tired cliche in pop culture in my opinion. It's nothing new and in fact diminishes what Reid was building from the beginning. The twist reminds me of that movie within a movie from Spike Jonze/Charlie Kaufmann's "Adaptation". It's the kind of thing that sizzles on an outline and would get people excited but ultimately makes no sense in the world of the story, or else serves to discard any "reality" or "world" of the story making the whole ordeal prior to the twist utterly meaningless.
