Ice Forged the start of another awesome series

The beginning of a new journey on Donderath. Great character development and a story that will hook you from the start.

    Loved it

Read all the novels including War of Shadows. Every book by Gail Z. Martin is worth the read and are amazing.

    Not up to usual standard

I have read author’s books and was looking forward to another good read. The first part of the book was what I expected from this author, namely a well developed set of characters, an intriguing plot, great world building, etc. Unfortunately, the second part of the story fell flat and came to an abrupt ending that left me wondering what the point of the last few chapters were for. While I don’t doubt the idea was for it to be a cliff hanger, it fell short of reaching a logical precipice.
