Title: Ice Wolf - Arctic Brotherhood, Book 1 Author: Jane Godman Publisher: St. Martin's Press Published: 3-27-2017 Pages: 177 Genre: Paranormal Romance Sub-Gen4PK7Kre: Sci Fi & Fantasy; Shifters; Werewolves ISBN: 9781250119964 ASIN: B01N784P7K Reviewed For NetGalley and St. Martin's Press Reviewer: DelAnne Rating: 4.25 Stars They are the Arctic Brotherhood. They are deadly fighters, fierce protectors and loyal mates. Elliott Wilder is a mild mannered Alaskan college professor. Wilder craves the things most people find boring. Seclusion. Monotony. Anonymity. But what Wilder craves most of all is the thing he can’t have… memory loss. Four hundred years ago, Wilder and the other members of the Arctic Brotherhood were captured and tortured by the leader of the Siberian werewolves. Wilder is still haunted by memories of that night, when he wasn’t able to protect his leader. Now the Siberian wolf is on the loose and seeking revenge. Not only must Wilder lead the brotherhood, he must fight the attraction he feels toward its newest recruit, Jenny Piper. Jenny offers Wilder a glimpse of the life he can’t have. As the brotherhood races against time to save humanity from the horror their enemies unleashed on the world, Wilder must reach inside himself to find the leader the brotherhood needs and the mate Jenny craves. WARNING: Due to content this book is not suitable for readers under the age of Majority. For all those who are be prepared for a story that will your heart rate and temperature rising. A story that shows how our past shapes us and changes who we are and how we see ourselves. Filled with strong characters and an intensive & suspenseful drama. Jane Godman has created a world set in beautiful atric lands filled with different wolf shiftes. Like humans some are good and some who are evil and are not afraid to do anything to anyone they desire. You are drawn in from the start and stay glued to the story until the last page. My rating of "Ice Wolf - Arctic Brotherhood, Book 1" is 4.25 out of 5 stars.

  • Ice Wolf

Ice Wolf is the first book in the Arctic Brotherhood series, and gives you a great book to begin with, to really get your interest going. Wilder is one of the Arctic Brotherhood, seven (and only seven) of the strongest and the bravest Arctic wolves. However, he has had nothing to do with his brothers for a long time, and hopes it will be even longer as he doesn't know if he has what it takes any longer. He has suffered with PTSD since the last time they got together, but I'm afraid that the bad guys don't consider things like that! Jenny is hoping to partner up with the elusive professor, and is shocked when she realises that he is an Arctic Wolf like her. This book starts nicely, giving you a great introduction to Wilder's life, and then BOOM!!! It is action packed, fast paced, and full of the Brothers! Brilliant. Learning about all of them, and their abilities, made for engrossing reading, especially if you have a softness for Norse mythology. The story between Jenny and Wilder takes off too, running along nicely with the reason the brothers have reunited. I won't go into the details of the story, you've got the synopsis for that. However, I will say that this is very well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow. This book is a page-turner, with action and steamy scenes to keep everyone happy. Definitely recommended for all shifter fans. * A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!
