    Superb

I came across Where She Went on my my monthly grocery shop. Sainsbury's was selling it for just £1.99 and having looked at the reviews of If I Stay late last year I decided to buy it, and then I bought If I Stay on my kobo. Anyway so in my first sitting I managed to get through 29% if the book. I was happy in that I'd been able to sit down and concentrate. I liked the family I was introduced to. I found Mia to be a likeable enough protagonist, and was interested to see where the story went. As the events unfolded and u sat down for my second reading today, I found myself captivated. I cared what happened as i suppose most good books make you. This was a tear-jerker, but there were moments where I found myself laughing through the tears. It was well written, and well paced too. The format was interesting too. Rather than being simply linear in its narrative it had instances of the past being recollected by Mia. This, I felt was done skilfully, and had a natural flow to it. I feel the relationships between the characters were well built, realistic, and had a warmth to them that one finds in them ( if that makes sense). I was especially touched by the Mia- Teddy relationship, being an older sister myself. And found myself crying quite a bit at these particular moments. All in all I found it to be a great book. I always find there's something cathartic in crying as you read... (Although that's probably just me). I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

A magical love story with a fabulous twist at the end. Make sure you have a box of tissues nearby at all times because this story sends shivers down your spine

    If I Stay.

If I Stay is a beautiful book and you can feel Mia's pain and loss the more you read. I couldn't put it down.
