    Impeding Justice

I love this series and M A Comley just gets better and better. The plots keep you riveted and I find the books hard to put down. If you like Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta, you'll love this main character.

    Impeding Justice

Great read. Edge of seat stuff. Graphic insight into the mind of a sadistic killer and how he plays the lead character Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Even better than the first in the series!

Impeding Justice is the 2nd of the Justice series, and it doesn't disappoint. In fact, it's even better than the first! After reading the first in the series, I immediately began reading the second and finished it by the next day, it was gripping, and full of action! Lorne Simpkins is back and on the trail of her nemesis, The Unicorn. She has been in pursuit of him for 8 years when she and her partner DS Pete Childs are trapped and he dies in her arms. This only makes her more determined to catch this ruthless criminal. She is still dealing with her rocky marriage, and then The Unicorn strikes right at home when he kidnaps her teenage daughter, Charlie. This book seriously is like a roller coaster ride. There are twists and turns, times when I was exhausted and out of breath from all the tension. The Unicorn is evil, evil personified and it's disturbing that there are real people out in the world like him, and commit such vile acts.. parts were very gruesome and hard to read so, it's not for the faint of heart (you can skip over those bits though, you don't want to miss this book it's seriously fantastic) You will want to jump right into book number 3, just like I did!
