    Amazing addition to this series

Ari and Lathe have an immediate connection that has his reeling and makes this story even more intriguing. I love how protective the Kindred men are, but this one really shows how dedicated they truly are to those they care about. Lathe has no idea that Ari is a female and knows he’s growing to love the little one. Even with all of his confusion, he never once slides from his protective nature, even when he’s mad at her about the lie. I love this series and how Evangeline has ensured each story is different enough to keep you coming back for more, but never changes her writing style. I’m a forever fan of Evangeline and I’ve enjoyed each and every book she’s written. I cannot wait for more! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Another amazing book!

As always, I fall in love with the characters and cheer for them in their quest. Ari is an very impressive character who is way over her head. The Goddess smiles on her and has placed a kindred in her path for protection on her adventure to save her brother. The storyline is very captivating and will keep the pages turning. Loved

Let me start by saying this book is not for everyone. It is a very dark book but in my eyes it has to be since the story is about these two being in a very bad prison. I think the author did an amazing job portraying what life would have been like in this type of prison. Me personally, I loved the book. I went into reading the book knowing a little what to expect. Latha was a blood kindred but not your normal blood kindred. He was what they called a Kill-All or a Cure-All. His essence could be use in different ways. I personal would love to see more books on this type of Kindred. I found Latha very sexy. I loved that he had chosen to be in the medical field. It was perfect for his special gift. I think there is so many areas that the author could go when it comes to this type of Kindred. Ari aka Lady Arianna Blackthorn was a very strong woman. I just loved her. I tried to picture whether I would have the strength to enter a prison pretending to be a boy to save someone I cared about. It took so much strength and courage. She put herself in a very dangerous situation. It was actually more dangerous then she had ever dreamed. Though I am truly not into MM books this was different because Ari was a woman that was actually pretending to be a man. I love that we got to see the battle that Lathe was having with himself. Here he was a straight male finding himself attracted to what he thought was another male. I think the author did an amazing job describing his struggle and all this inward battles. There is a lot that happens in this story and let me tell you there are some pretty steamy parts as well. Can I just say WOW. I was so squirming in my seat and it was not helping that I was reading this at work..LOL I am happy that I got a chance to read this book. I am looking forward to the next book that will be coming out in the Kindred Bride series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Kindred Brides 22 Imprisoned

Evangeline Anderson - Imprisoned - Brides of the Kindred 22 Book 22 in the Kindred Bride series was amazing as all the books in the series but also a bit different than the others. The majority of the storyline takes place in a horrible nightmare of a prison run by cruel mistresses of Yonnie 6. Meant not just to house dangerous criminals but also a dumping ground for their male slaves they have grown tired of or who prove too difficult to train. This story is dark and there is a lot of violence, the author warns readers of this beforehand. I found the difficult subject matter handled well. I’m hoping to see those Kindred finally give the Yonnie 6 mistresses what’s coming to them in the near future. This book is about Lathe, a special blood Kindred who can both kill and heal with his fangs. He is sent undercover to this prison to get incriminating evidence of the horrific abuses occurring there. While there, since he is a doctor, he is given the role of Medic. Lathe has personal reasons to accept this dangerous assignment and that is to avenge the death of his brother who had been killed at the prison. Ari is a minor noble and lives a peaceful life with her brother Jack on a planet near Yonnie 6. When Jak is captured and sold as a slave on the male hating planet. Jak, refusing to be reduced to a slave ends up in the same prison as Lathe. Ari invents a holo-device that makes her appear like a young male, genitalia and all so that she can make her way into the prison and rescue her brother. We are also introduced to, Slate, whose story will be out shortly and the glimpse into his book has me wishing it were out now, it promises to be very awesome. This story has a lot of danger, adventure, hold your breath suspense , of course some delicious hot scenes as only Ms. Anderson can write, but most of all it is about bravery, loyalty and love so strong it makes you go up against the worst of nightmares and fight the near impossible odds.
