    A Fun Read With Heart

I loved JP and while yes, he was a bad boy, how much was an act to cover what he felt deep inside? He just played up to everyone's expectations, however he did steal his brother's gf, but they should be thanking him, not throwing it in his face, and Theo got his true love in the 1st book. Maybe that's why I liked JP so much, he was under appreciated! A champion with a hot temper and good in his heart. Taylor was seriously having a rough time in all aspects of her life and wanted to cut loose. Her and JP had that chemistry in spades and it was hot! They also talked, kept a few secrets but understood each other when it counted. I will admit to liking JP's character more than Taylor's. She wasn't as goody two shoes as everyone thought, imo, and played a part in some of the turmoils without really owning up to them when she should have. Now the Wynn family can either help or hinder a cause, and all throughout these two got all that and more lol. My emotions went right along with all the events and I loved the quirky fur baby, who added some hilarity of his own. A good, lighter read for me. I enjoyed an advance reader's copy thru Netgalley and giving my opinions voluntarily.

Read this if you like Hockey romance

D0 yourself a favor and buy this book and then buy the one before it. Kelly Jamieson has really become a new favorite author for me. This is the second book in the Wynn series and it revolves around JP and Taylor. We are introduced to them in the first book but this book goes in depth and really gives us a different perspective on JP. We are introduced to JP and Taylor at Lacey and Theo's wedding. JP and Theo are brothers and Lacey and Taylor are best friends. Of course, JP and Taylor hook up but the chaos that ensues is so entertaining. We see a different side of JP in this book and really get an idea of how he feels and what kind of man he really is. Taylor has hang ups from having her family broken up. The twist with that was not predictable at all. Although JP and Taylor get together, the author takes us on a journey to discover why JP acts the way he does, how he is trying to make it right and why he feels that he doesn't deserve love. I really liked this book. It was nice to see recurring characters and find out where their journeys have taken them. There are steamy scenes that do not disappoint. I laughed. I got angry at some parts but most of all, I became invested in these characters and would love to see if they show up again.

    Challenge

This book is #2, in the Wynn Hockey series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Jean Paul AKA "JP" is instantly attracted to Taylor. She is everything he can think of that he wants in a woman. Only she also thinks the worst of him. Then something happens at his brother's wedding that changes it all. Taylor has never found such a bad boy this charming and sexy. Their time together makes her think he has a better side to him. Something no one sees. Should she try to understand men or hockey players? This book was just BAM! right from the start so intense, hot, and really good. It sets your heart pumping and then just all heat and action. I found it be quite the rush. These characters are also amazing. Deeper than they seem on the surface and sexier than most this author has brought to the table. ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers, in exchange for an honest review.

    Humor, Heat And Heart

I enjoyed JP and Taylor's story. JP was a charming, lovable rascal with a big propensity for getting in trouble (even when trying to avoid it). Taylor, I did like but I admit to being quite frustrated with her a few times throughout the book. Still, I very much approved of these two as a couple. I thought the story line was fun and offered a great blend of drama, tension, turmoil, humor, heat and heart.

    Loved it

This author certainly knows how to write sports romance especially hockey romance and In It to Win It was everything I have come to expect and so much more from the very talented Kelly Jamieson. Taylor and JP met at a family wedding and the attraction was instant the chemistry sizzling then life got in the way, the timing was all wrong and nothing seemed to work. JP needed to get his life back under control before he could contemplate a relationship but Taylor was the perfect fun loving girl to get him back on track if she could only forget he was a hockey player....... This is a book with all the feels, it’s about a couple that make mistakes, it has its fair share of sorrow but it also has a lot hope, it’s a romance built around family and friends and I loved every word, it captivated me from the first page to the last line and I’m excited to see where we go next in the Wynn hockey series.
