    A Fun Read With Heart

I loved JP and while yes, he was a bad boy, how much was an act to cover what he felt deep inside? He just played up to everyone's expectations, however he did steal his brother's gf, but they should be thanking him, not throwing it in his face, and Theo got his true love in the 1st book. Maybe that's why I liked JP so much, he was under appreciated! A champion with a hot temper and good in his heart. Taylor was seriously having a rough time in all aspects of her life and wanted to cut loose. Her and JP had that chemistry in spades and it was hot! They also talked, kept a few secrets but understood each other when it counted. I will admit to liking JP's character more than Taylor's. She wasn't as goody two shoes as everyone thought, imo, and played a part in some of the turmoils without really owning up to them when she should have. Now the Wynn family can either help or hinder a cause, and all throughout these two got all that and more lol. My emotions went right along with all the events and I loved the quirky fur baby, who added some hilarity of his own. A good, lighter read for me. I enjoyed an advance reader's copy thru Netgalley and giving my opinions voluntarily.

    Redemption

I like that the author jumped right into JP's story. He was not well liked in book 1 since he stole his brothers girlfriend. We did find out a few truths about that at the end of Theo and Lacey's book that didn't paint JP as bad as you are lead to believe. In fact, we learn a lot about JP in this book that shows there is always more that meets the eye. I like that we learn that JP is actually a really great guy who just doesn't always make the right choice. Taylor is a girl who believes in love even if she has never experienced it herself. She isn't afraid to put herself out there to find it. She and JP start off on the wrong foot but the undeniable attraction is persistent and it takes a bit for them to find their footing. There is a bit of push and pull in the first half of the book but we do learn a lot about both these characters during this time. It's not necessary to read book 1 first, however we do get a lot of Theo and Lacey in this book. We also get to see that spark for our next couple in book 3. I really like Everly and Wyatt sounds pretty intriguing.

    A Stellar Sports Romance!

Hockey meets Hope When Jp Wynn, the undisputed bad boy of Hockey sets his sights on Taylor, it should be all fun and innuendos between them- since they've both sworn off relationships... But there is something between them, something that keeps drawing them back to one another, along with the fact that they share mutual friends. Giving in to temptation leads to a host of feelings neither saw coming. What they do with all these swirling emotions, with their lives already in chaos? 'In It To Win It' - a sports romance, with a heavy dose of feels, dirty talking sweetheart of a man, and plenty of inside their head drama to get in the way... Perfect amounts of sass, heat, humor, and heart layered in a twisty storyline. One that kept me swiping pages wanting to know more about Jp, Taylor as well as the secondary characters in their fast-paced world. An electrified Hockey Romance

    Another 'Winn' for Kelly!!!

In It To Win It is the second book in the ‘Winn Hockey’ series by Kelly Jamieson. It focuses on Theo’s brother JP. (Theo starred with Lacey in book 1 Play To Win. If you haven’t read this yet, you should, preferably before book 2, but it’s not a vital requirement if you haven’t. These are stand-alone titles even though previous characters do show up. Unlike his brother, who is the GM of the Condors, JP plays for the Golden Eagles. He’s been trapped with the moniker ‘bad boy of hockey’ and his family, due to his quick-fire temper and questionable decisions both on and off the field. Taylor is a child speech therapist who loves her job, her life and her family. She is looking for a man to share all that love with. But, then she meets JP. They’re both attending Theo and Lacey’s wedding weekend. They share an undeniably and scorching hot chemistry that won’t be denied. Some seriously hot times between the sheets leads to JP being tossed in water almost as hot. JP hates being held to blame when he (for once) was the innocent party, all he did was fall for a sexy girl. JP keep meeting up though, and eventually they decide to give a ‘fun time’ a go. Feelings creep into the mix though, as they always do, and JP finds it hard to juggle his professional life. Something has to give. JP is in need of some of that straight-talking he gave his brother not so long ago. Will he listen? I loved this story, it was a bit of a slow burner despite how it started, and I loved watching JP and Taylor develop a real relationship. Plus catching up with the Winns was fun too. We also got a taster of the next couple and I can’t wait to see how Everly and Wyatt get together in Win Big, Book 3 coming soon.

    Fight for what you want

An absolutely stunning novel about family, love and forgiveness! Jp and Taylor’s story is one that I loved from start to finish! Their chemistry, easy flow of conversation and overall interactions were always on fire and made my heart happy! Jp and Taylor have been through some crazy times and we see both of them grow and learn from their mistakes! Both are trying to understand the world around them and their place in it! As Jp struggles to come to terms with his past he has to decide if he can give his all to Taylor or if he needs to put all his focus on hockey! What I loved is that in the end his family didn’t let him fail and they let him see that love is worth it in the end!
