    Incredible book

Absolutely mind blowing autobiography of this courageous 21 year old North Korean girl, her terrifying life in North Korea, escape to China and finally South Korea. Unbelievable evil regime in North Korea, which the modern world cammot allow to continue. Just as Nazi Germany was brought down, the world has a moral duty to bring down the North Korean regime! This was a shocking book to read and it will re,ain on your mind for a long time, should not be forgotten.

    Inspiration

A page turner, insights in how life is like in North Korea, the strong will to live and find freedom. Sad to see how innocent and vulnerable defectors are treated and sold in China. And then freedom is not sweet if society doesn't help defectors adjust and ease into the modern world.

    POWERFUL!

I can't put down the book. Yeonmi Park made me realized the evils of man and greed for power and control. While reading her story, her pain also became my pain and I can't help but cry with her. Her triumph became my triumph. I wish all North Koreans will have the privilege of experiencing the real meaning of FREEDOM and for others to appreciate what we have here in Canada. The world should realized the horrors of Kim regime is no diference to the horrors of human trafficking.

    A very good read

Detailed account of her ordeals in North Korea and China. But what I love most about the book is how the writer speaks about her inner struggles when she was coming to terms with her emotions in relation to human trafficking. Very brave indeed of her to speak up about her personal experience with human trafficking.
