  • Really Satisfying.

Inappropriate is about a woman who is terminated from her job, for an unsuitable video that went viral, and she emails the CEO and tells him exactly what she thinks of his policies. Well, that's the short version and it already had me wanting more. I think its funny when alcohol plays a part in the thoughts when sending these emails and lucky for Ireland, her boss's boss's boss thought it was slightly funny too. There is a little back and forth with the telecommunications in the beginning but mostly this story is about the relationship between these two and how they navigate through the issues they both bring to the party. Grant Lexington is not your typical CEO. He’s not only comfortable in the boardroom, he also likes to be on committees as well as being handy with the tools. You could say he was juggling a few balls! Most of us have baggage when starting a new relationship, but Grant's truly was full and sad. What he sees in Ireland though is a chance, a change of something new and exciting and also a little scary. Probably because his feelings for her are instant. Ireland is a little more reserved in her actions towards the 'playboy' but as they spend more and more time together, she sees only the best in him. I adored Grant, I genuinely did. He was smart and attentive and knew exactly what he wanted. What I loved the most was that he was human, and he had deep emotions that effected how these two could come together. And when he stuffs up, he makes up even better. Ireland was the perfect choice to help Grant handle being in a relationship again. She had patience and understanding that some women wouldn't. She was his equal on all parts that mattered. If you are looking for a romance with a decent amount of wit to angst, and a satisfying epilogue then look no further, you have found your next book to read right here.

  • There is only our house

What a complicated love story between Grant and Ireland have. They meet because of a video that went viral, you guessed it, it was inappropriate. This book is heart breaking and beautiful. I love Ireland, she's become a favorite. She's a warrior. Social media is a double edged sword, can be used for good and bad, always be aware others may see what you hadn't intended. Too bad her friend didn't realize that before she posted their fun trip. Grant is complicated with a tragic past. Your heart breaks for him. I loved the last few chapters, restores your heart and soul. Thank you Vi Keeland for another incredible book.

  • Engaging Office Romance

Inappropriate by Vi Keeland is that office romance that has the feels, steam, rawness, heartbreak, angst , drama and HEA that easily makes this another hit by author Vi Keeland. Ireland and Grant have this spark, this sizzle between them that makes you root for them throughout the story. The start to their relationship was unusual yet just grew from there. I loved the witty, sexy banter they had; the emotional rollercoaster romance and the sweet, spicy chemistry. The plot works with the moments of humor that work well. I liked the characters in this story. It's not an instant love story but more where their love grows after they get to know each other which I liked. Ireland and Grant make this a amazing read!!!! My Rating: 4.5 stars *******

  • Review: Inappropriate

Inappropriate by Vi Keeland is a fantastic standalone comprised of all the elements of a great and emotional story I have come to expect from her. Surface level fun and laughs, mid level romance and steam and heat, and deep level emotional angst. This story of a woman wrongly fired and falling for her boss could just be a sexy romance, but the amazing Vi Keeland always has a deeper story to tell. Grant’s painful past is slowly revealed to us a morsel at a time and Ireland is just awesome. She is a fighter that sticks up for herself even when the outlook is bleak, she still defends herself and is respectful (wish) about it. Her interactions with Grant continue to humanize him, taking him from ruthless CEO to beautiful tragic man with a heart of gold. Enjoy!
