    Powerful and Beautifully written

I have been waiting for this story forever it seems. If you are a fan of the Montgomery series then you have seen how Tabitha, an honorary Montgomery and an assistant for the Montgomery construction business, has secretly pined for the broken brother Alex. Tabitha has her own secrets she has been hiding and when those secrets come to light things start to change. Alex is the youngest Montgomery sibling and has recently returned home after completing rehab for alcohol. Now sober and trying to find his way in the world and his place in the family again he is thrilled when his brothers offer him a project with the construction business. The job will have Alex and Tabitha working closely together. The job puts Alex and Tabitha working side by side and mutual feelings start to grow. Alex however can’t help but fight this attraction, feeling he is not “good enough” for Tabitha because of his demons. When Tabitha is nearly attacked, all bets are off and these two can no longer fight the attraction even though both fear they are not what the other needs. I loved the way Carrie Ann faced the alcoholism in this book. She did an excellent job of really showing all the struggles involved with this disease and didn’t skip over the ugly parts that accompany it. She gave Alex the strength to overcome his demons and the knowledge to be able to avoid his triggers. This book was very powerful and extremely well written. I received an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

This was a great read from a great series!

I have read the entire Montgomery series and loved every book especially this book. This was a great story to read where the characters were realistic and relatable with their issues. Alex struggled with his alcoholism and persevered through many challenges while Tabby works through her past and finds her strength. I enjoyed this book from start to finish as I had a hard time putting this book down once I started and I would recommend this book to others. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

    Sweet and hopeful

Oh Alexander and Tabitha, you brave and wonderful people! Alex has had his world ripped apart by his addiction. He struggles every day to stay sober and not trade addictions. He is surrounded by family, yet still feels apart from them. As for what he feels for Tabitha, he shoves that aside every time it surfaces. He has been there, done that, and failed miserably. He doesn't trust himself to love again, no matter how good things feel with Tabitha Tabby has been attracted to Alexander forever, but he was married, then in rehab, then in recovery. She tries to hide it, but things eventually bubble to the surface for both of them. As much as she is in love with him, she knows he isn't ready for her to say so. She sees Alexander in ways nobody else does, and as safe as she feels with him, he feels it with her A good build up to the relationship, realistic emotions and reactions, and all that makes for an even sweeter HEA in the end!

    These books never get old

Usually when a reader gets five or six books into a series, the chasracters become dull and the story predictable. This is not a series where that is the case. The story is unique to the series and the characters develop with each book.

Another Great Addition to the Montgomery Ink Serie

Ink Exposed is Book 6 in the Montgomery Ink series by Carrie Ann Ryan. While the books do not need to be read in order, this is an incredible series so I highly recommend starting from the beginning. While Alex’s story has been a long time coming and even though it was rough waiting for him to finish rehab and work on controlling his alcoholism, it was well worth it. Ms. Ryan outdid herself on this story. The chemistry between Alex and Tabby was spot on and she did a superb job with a very sensitive topic. All in all this was an excellent addition to one of my favorite series. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Ryan has in store for the Montgomery’s next.
