    Excellent.

This book is phenomenal. Anyone with more than a passing interest in the ethology and science of dogs would do well to have this is their library.

    Sheltie Owner

This book is so poorly written I would never buy anything from this author again. (Don't know if she has any more books and don’t want to know.) If you are an "Expert" in the field of dog psychology you might (and I use that word loosely) like this book but if you are an average person like myself you will be questioning why you ever bought it. Not a fun read at all. I would give it 0 stars if it was an option.

    Disappointing

Low on new information. Not as scientific as it purports to be. I did not learn much new, and there was a lot of filler.

    Scientific, fun and emotional

This book is more than a primer on communicating with your dog. It's a reminder that they see the world differently; that anthropomorphizing them is sometimes doing them a disservice. It is a science book, a memoir and a celebration, and probably the only science book that ever made me tear up at the end. I'm going to go hug my dog, now, and see what he has to say.

Inside of a dog - what digs see etc.

A dog has recently moved into my home. I found this book very interesting and very helpful in giving Mr insight into my new companion.
