    Thanks for your feedback!

    I wanted to love it

When I read the synopsis of this book, it sounded very similar to my experience. . With a few notable discrepancies but none the less .. similar experiences and feelings as I navigated my way through active addiction. I found myself understanding the peices deemed discrepancies more than I had anticipated and I think anyone .. male or female will find similarities between their own experiences or the experience of being close to someone in the throws of addiction. I really don't want to (or feel right to be critical in any way of how this was written) say anything negative .. and the following isn't negative persay but I found myself wishing thwre was more details .. throw in some more how she felt at that time. It moved so quick then it was over. I think the title says it all.. she did lose an arm and a leg which I think in this particular case saved this girls life. It's too bad that is the case but I bet if one was to get the chance to ask her for her opinion, she would agree. Personally I think daily how fortunate I was to escape my addiction fairly unscathed. Physically anyways. Mentally is obviously a different story, but one day at a time. I recommend this book for someone to read if they are exploring this genre, but I probably wouldn't recommend this being the only book on addiction one reads. I don't think it would resignation with everyone and I think there are a lot of better addiction to recovery books but that's just my opinion.
