    Pathetic

It was a pathetic book... No sense of plot... Story line haywired.... Nothing making sense... Poor choice of words n characters.

    Vulnerable strength and armored weakness

I had to think about whether i liked this book, but the verdict was yes... Yes I did, indeed! It was an adventure in opposites: compelling yet disturbing, familiar yet strangely foreign, refreshingly absurd inner commentary with harshly critical self examination (not always pretty!) along with a cast of characters ranging the gamut of extremes, and sexy scenes that eventually pulled me in for the ride. Now THAT'S a romance!

    Quite complicated

Best enjoyed if read after at least the first book of the Random Acts of Crazy series and the first book of this one, but technically it could be a standalone. The defense mechanisms created by the psyche to survive and thrive in an emotionally hostile environment are what keeps these two protagonists at odds with accepting the possibility of a relationship where more than sex is involved. The comic relief of a few mix-up moments helps the reader get through some pretty dark moments, but the natural resiliency and inner strength of the characters pulls through well, in the end.

Damaged girl/boy can still fall in love

Loved that even with a bad childhood; love can concur all. Lots of steamy and funny. Enjoyed reading and relaxing.

    It's Complicated # 2

It took a while for me to really get into the storyline because of so many details; but I understood in the end. I'm still not too sure of Laura and Darla's sanity, so I'll let that fly. If they're happy, so be it. It was nard to see how two people could love so fast and yet allow their pass dictate the future. Good read.
