  • Another perfect addition to the Eden series!

Ms. Perry has done it again with another fabulous story in the Eden series! I absolutely adore this series so much and loved being able to return to Quincy, Montana to some of my favorite characters! Juniper Hill is full love, acceptance, perseverance, and hard work. I could not get enough of this story. I absolutely devoured this book in one day. Everything about this story drew me in and left me wanting more. This is a perfect addition to the series. Memphis Ward is a woman set out to start over in the small town of Quincy. She has a beautiful baby boy named Drake and she would do anything to protect him, even if that means packing all their things and moving from New York to a small town to start over. Memphis is a fantastic character. She’s hardworking, a quick learner, dedicated to her son, willing to make sacrifices for her boy, and overall just a very kind and thoughtful person. I thought it was refreshing that Memphis acknowledged that she wasn’t always the most kind or thoughtful person. In her former life, she could be spoiled and selfish, but all of that changed when she had her baby boy. She put him first above all others and would do whatever it took to protect him and provide him with a good and honest life. She wanted to teach him that there was more to life than having a lot of money and that doing good and honest work is a good thing. She wants him to know that she will always put him first and love the heck out of him. I adored her relationship with her son. She didn’t know what she was doing 99% of the time, but she never gave up and she never stopped trying to do her best. I admire Memphis so much for putting her son first and leaving a really toxic family environment to protect him. She is a fabulous character. Knox Eden. Oh boy. I am obsessed with this man. Completely obsessed. He’s kind, compassionate, thoughtful, possessive, driven, and so much more. I loved that he was a chef and truly loved what he did. It was adorable how often that man would cook for Memphis and he did that to show her he cared. It was his way of showing his love and it was adorable. Knox has a past that almost stopped him from exploring a relationship with Memphis and I’m so glad he overcame those fears because him and Memphis are perfect together. The way that Knox loves his family makes you fall in love with him even more. The Eden family is so close with one another and would do anything for each other. I loved catching glimpses of those relationships and I could tell how much Knox truly loves them. Knox is a perfect combination of alpha male and supportive partner wrapped into one. I couldn’t get enough of him. He made me swoon so many times during this story and I fell completely in love with him. I was sad when the story was over! Knox and Memphis together are absolute perfection! The love between these two is something to be jealous over. And the love Knox has for Drake is simply amazing. He loves that little boy as if he was his own and he’s not afraid to show it. Memphis and Knox had chemistry from the first moment that they met. It was fantastic to watch the friendship develop between them and then grow into something so much more. These two helped one another heal over their heartaches and pain from the past. They helped one another move forward. I absolutely adored these two together. The love between them made my heart so happy and full. And the love for Drake made it pretty much explode. These three make such an adorable family and I loved reading every second of their story. Overall, I rate this story a 5/5! I adored Juniper Hill and didn’t want it to end. It was a story of falling in love, accepting yourself for who you are, and experiencing a whole new way of living. I loved getting to know Memphis, Knox and Drake and I completely adore the little family they built with one another. I didn’t want to see this story end, but I am so excited to see where Devney Perry takes us in the next book! I can’t wait to learn about each Eden sibling and watch each fall in love.

  • Had me on an emotional edge

This book kept me on an emotional edge. I connected with Memphis to the point that I was in agony each time she faced a new challenge to her self confidence. She was carrying some pretty heavy weight on her shoulders and while Know was willing to help lift it, I was cheering her onward to do what her soul needed her to do. There were times when her story felt like cuts across my own soul. Oh my gosh, Knox was amazingly perfect in every way. The little bit of conflict in the beginning was like baiting a hook and I was taking it as fast as I could. When that conflict included his moments with Drake, holy heck, I was scrambling to figure it all out. While Knox wasn’t insanely alpha despite all his gooey hotness, the epilogue showed a side of him that had me jumping and yelling for joy, figuratively, of course. I love the type of alpha protectiveness portrayed in the style here. ’He strode toward me, taking my face in his hands. “Then here’s another truth. I’m going to take them. I’m going to take all of your bests. Every da– one until you can’t keep track of the top five anymore because there are so many bests that you’ll need a hundred to capture them all.” “Promise?” I whispered. “I swear it.”’ This had a steady build up that made me feel twitchy, constantly waiting for the so-called “other shoe” to drop. The anticipation almost killed me. This was definitely one of those books that is impossible to set down and walk away from and had me reading late into the night in order to finish it.

  • Knox and Memphis 4-Ever

Knox and Memphis are sweet and electric and full of everything needed in a romance novel! Knox’s true fear of his past is heart-wrenching to feel alongside him, but his heart and overcoming that fear for Memphis and Drake is so fulfilling to feel alongside him as well. Memphis, though she second guesses herself, is such a strong mother and a caring woman that yearns to stand on her own two feet away from her family. Juniper Hill grabbed my attention from the first page, and kept it all the way until the end! Feeling the array of emotion with the main characters in all of their anguish, worry, love, and passion was such an enjoyable reading experience!
