    Just mercy

An amazing terrifying read! The injustice towards the African American is still a thorn in the side of American so called justice. What makes people hate so much!

    Just Mercy

This book, "Just Mercy," by Bryan Stevenson, was as compelling as any book could be, but it is also a travesty, because it reflects the degree of racism that still exists in se parts of America today. Worse, it reflects a legal system that is flawed and deeply in need of repair. That is not to say that all negroes or others, who go to jail are innocent, but it does suggest a society deeply divided and a society where there is one standard for persons of colour, and another standard for those who are not. The same applies to the division between those in extreme poverty and those who are not. While not openly stated in the book, it would appear that while America may be the home of the free and the brave, that the standard may not be the same for all, and that justice may turn a blind eye to that which is truly just.

    Just Mercy

Must read. No words can express how powerful this book is. Tragic, hopeful, real--please read and please stand for justice in whatever form that might take.

    Justice with Mercy

I really enjoyed how passionate the author is about helping the people unjustly punished or given up by society. An enjoyable read.

    Blind justice isn't always good

What I will remember is that one action in a person's life does not define their entire life. So sad to think how many people have been treated so badly.
