    A Wonderful love story

You will fall in head over heels for this love story between two down to earth and quirky characters. Lorelei brings a story about two very sweet and lovable people who fate brings together, and then add in the woes of work, family, and friends. You just can't help but love Walker and Trinity along with all of the Lund family. Walker and Trinity are so down to earth that as you read you feel the two are your own personal friends. I had a smile on my face through the whole read of the story. I have added another Lorelei story to one of my all time favorite reads. (less)

    OMG!

Trinity and Walker are my new favorite couple. Lorelei has done it again. The chemistry between them is off the charts, immediate and what some would call fate. Walker knows that Trinity is his and he isn't giving up on her, crazy or not. He has his own bits of crazy with his family and work so he can definitely handle hers. Trinity is my person. I know her creative crazy and it takes a special man to handle her. Walker is definitely up for the job. Add in some eccentric friends, crazy, over involved family, a picky cat and you have enough story with meat on the bones to satisfy even the hopeless romantic! Way to go Lorelei!!

They both work with their hands...

I liked long hair before it was cool – but I refuse to think of sexy Walker with a man bun. Pulled back is not a man bun! Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, onto the review. For Lorelei James’ existing fans, if you liked the first Need You book (What You Need), you will continue to like the series. James’ signature theme of the ways that families, friends, the past, and the present impact how people connect is apparent. We see people who care when they shouldn’t and not care when they should. Sure, it’s not erotica like our beloved rancher, cowboy, and martial arts books, but LJ is far more than a sex scene writer. If you haven’t read Lorelei James before, I might suggest reading What You Need first – but it’s not mandatory. LJ series don’t leave you with hangover burns (generally – we’ll ignore the Boone and Sierra slow burn for now…), and new fully-fleshed characters get to take center stage in each book. So, while there are some spoilers for What You Need in Just What I Needed, they won’t ruin the story. What I especially appreciate in James’ work is that people can be supportive without co-dependence. We see imperfections and are encouraged to embrace those imperfections. Trinity’s creative process is pretty intense, but there’s no drive to “fix” her. Walker has to work through some issues, but even with a bit of a forceful approach, he’s allowed to come to his own decisions. I realize not everybody enjoys alternating points of view, but I think this technique enhances our understanding of these characters and what motivates them to act as they do. Note: I received an ARC for an honest review.

Get Ready To Fall In Love

What I Needed is just what this book delivered. I honestly did not think I would like this one better than the first in this series but boy was I wrong! I LOVED this book! Walker and Trinity are the perfect ying and yang. I loved that Lorelei made Trinity quirky and imperfect, just like women are. She kept her real and didn't make her all conform to what the man wanted. And Walker??? Sheesh what can I say about him other than he's the perfect man! Now he has his own issues, again, something I love that Lorelei does to her characters, but he is just so sweet. The way he cares about Trinity is just the bomb! Lorelei writes her characters so they pull you into their world. You feel what they feel and want them to succeed. I have read everything this author has written and I can honestly say she keeps getting better. Read this series, you will not regret it and hey, you may just fall in love with these characters like I did.
