Justice Ascending -Book 3-Scorpius Syndrome series

I just finished reading this book October 09, 2017. This is my review. I really enjoyed this book about Tace and Sami. It's a really good addition to the Scorpius Syndrome series. High energy action scenes. Intense emotional scenes. Excellent sexual chemistry between the main characters. A little bit of humour mixed in as well. Overall, a very well rounded out story. Tace is positive he's turning psychotic. He contracted the Scorpius virus and just barely survived. But now he's getting weird symptoms. OCD tendencies. Increased strength. Obsessive tendencies as well. His current obsession is Sami. He just can't stop thinking about her. She's a fellow soldier in this post-apocalyptic world and he really wants to f&^k her. But it's not just a lust thing. He wants to protect her and keep her safe. Can he really have a relationship with Sami or will his Scorpius virus symptoms take him down before he gets a chance? Sami has made it a point not to get close to a man. She has too many secrets. But Tace just won't leave her alone! He follows her everywhere. And his flirting is nothing like it used to be before he contracted Scorpius. Now, it's more dirty and direct. She's always thought Tace was good looking but he's a fellow soldier and that wouldn't be right crossing the line into lovers. But Tace is relentless and Sami just may let down some of her walls to be with Tace. But her secrets are her own. I really enjoyed the story line to this book. It's fast paced, well thought out, flows very nicely and kept me intrigued the whole time. The relationship between Tace and Sami is very intense and very hot. Balancing their strong sexual relationship is a strong emotional relationship as well. They each use each other to get over issues from their pasts. They certainly go through some roller coaster emotions throughout this book. The overall series plot about finding the Bunker progresses a lot in this book. There is also an internal struggle within the Vanguard territory with a group calling themselves the Pure (people who have not been infected by the Scorpius virous). Overall, this book was really interesting and entertaining. I can't wait to read the next one.

Hang on to your hats, you're in for quite a ride.

Tace and Sami have to be two of my favorite characters in this series and you put them together, YAY! Loved seeing a more feminine side of Sami though. She had this soft vulnerable underbelly all along and OMG what a twist on her secret past. I would have NEVER guessed that. Tace, of course, has been to hell and back with the way Scorpius has affected him. As he discovers new aspects of himself, his attraction to Sami becomes so blatant that it can no longer be ignored. Plenty of action, hot and heavy romance, espionage, trouble, and treason makes this installment of The Scorpius Syndrom series one of the best so far.
