    Amazing

Let me start by saying if you are a Susan Stoker fan then you will see from the beginning that this book is different from her usual book….. but oh so good!!! This book has it all! A super sexy hero, Cruz. A strong and sweet heroine, Mickie. Even some ditzy girls and super slimy creepy bad guys. Twist and turns that have you biting your nails. To super-hot and sexy scenes ;)

    Another Winner for Susan Stoker!

The second book in the Badge of Honor series is another win for Susan Stoker! I love her SEALs series so was curious when this series began. She did not disappoint with her first book, Justice for Mackenzie and her latest just proves everything she writes is fantastic. Cruz, a member of the FBI, and Mickie, the sister of someone involved in a case, cross paths while he is working undercover in a MC. If you think this book is your typical MC novel you will be pleasantly surprised. This is no “tough on the outside but teddy bears on the inside” motorcycle club! This book is edgy, suspenseful and exciting. She keeps you reading because you need to know what will happen to each character since you may think you know, but you don't. I loved her tie in to the SEALs series in this book, so those of us who have read it will catch her reference I'm sure. This couple is well matched and has a rough road to travel. Susan Stoker develops this relationship well and in a way that is heartfelt and believable. Do not wait to read this book! If you haven't started the Badge of Honor series then get it started now because you don't want to miss out!

    Amazing read

So having read book 1 in this series, I started this book with the knowledge that Susan was going to send me on something emotional, painful... all those good things that usually draw you in when reading. Boy did I get what I expected & more! I was instantly drawn into this book, from start to finish I was lost, I couldn't escape, I needed to know what was going to happen & how. Cruz is undercover, he has a plan set in motion, but the plan never involved meeting the women of his dreams... especially when he's surrounded by one of the worst MC's known in the city. Mickie is just trying to look out for her younger sister, trying to keep her safe, but when her sister is dating a MC president, all her radars go beserk. Mickie's only joy during this time happens when she's around Cruz.... I loved how Cruz & Mickie start out slowly, communicating via text, then the odd lunch date... soon becoming friends during Cruz's time undercover. I loved how the characters were in their 30's, they have histories that are sometimes unthinkable, but they are moving forward. We also get to catch up with the characters from book 1 (Justice for Mackenzie), I love when authors do this. I LOVED everything! 'Justice for Mickie" is the second book in Susan's AMAZING new series "Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes", I'm blown away with what I read & can not wait to see what comes next for the series.

    Loved it!

I loved this book! If you like strong romantic suspense, you have found it in this book. Cruz goes undercover in a motorcycle club (gang), but not the pretty cleaned up version popular in novels. The MC he infiltrates is felonious, cruel, and misogynistic. While undercover for months in this toxic setting, Cruz struggles to hold onto his own humanity and self respect. He meets Mickie during this time and tries to keep his real self separate from his undercover self despite meeting Mickie because of his undercover work. This is book 2 in the Badge of Honor series, but is a stand alone novel. However, if you are a fan of the author, you will notice characters from her other novels make an appearance in this one - including a mention of a character from the Protecting series. This one is a must read for fans of the genre.

    Hold onto your seats

Cruz takes the reader down into the underbelly of crime as he investigates the MC club and though fate meets Mickie. The journey to their happiness comes through tears. Good book that I received as authors copy and recommend.
