    Katharina Luther

I really enjoyed this book, couldn't wait to get back to it and at no time did it get "bogged" down with irrelevant detail. The development of the relationship between Katharina and Martin Luther beautifully told. As I knew very little about Martin Luther or that he was even married, the author has written a very interesting and informative account of their lives and events of that time in history and the Reformation. The story of Katharina is told in a very easy to read and captivating way while still being very enlightening of that important time in history. Great read, thoroughly recommend it.

    Not all true

Some Biblical errors. Eve was the first woman, so how could the author say that before the downfall women gave birth without pain?

    Luther's wife

A beautiful account not only of of the life of Martin Luther and his wife Katherine, but also of life in medieval Germany. We experience the sights, smells and sounds of daily convent life and of town life during a time of great social and religious change through the eyes of a young woman in the process of discovering herself.

    Spellbinding

Frau Doktor Luther came to life for me in the pages of this book. I've read about Martin but the only things I knew about Katharina were the obvious and that she made good bier. It is wonderful to learn more about her. Thank you Ms. Boileau for this delight.
