    I love this series!

Book number five does not disappoint! One of my favourite series. Great characters and setting with a wonderfully written whodunit. I cannot wait to read more in the series!

    Enjoyable read

This is book #5 in the Tourist Trap Mystery series. This installment finds Jill helping with South Cove's 5k run when a dead body is found. Like the other books in the series, this one finds Jill playing detective and putting herself back in the middle of murder and mayhem. This book contains very enjoyable characters but the mystery element just wasn't there for me in this book. I found the storyline to be lacking and just a little too predictable. With that being said, the book is still a very enjoyable read and a good addition to the series. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher via NetGalley for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

Not one of my better visits to South Cove

I have been reading and enjoying this series since the beginning but this one was not one of my favorites. I found the mystery to be pretty weak in this one. I really enjoyed how Jill and Greg's relationship was growing in the last book and she stopped keeping so many secrets but she is back to her old ways in this one. Once again she is lying to Greg about her sleuthing and puts herself in danger. It was obvious who the killer was but she still confronts the killer with no backup. The previous book in this series was published in June 2015 and this book read like it was hastily written. There were areas that would have benefited with better editing. I would prefer to have a longer wait between books with a better book. This series should be read in order as previous mysteries are mentioned in this one. Sometimes more than once. Read this one to keep up with the series. I received a copy of the book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review

    Killer Run

As a mystery lover I will say that I really enjoy this series. It is a light read but exciting enough to keep you interested. I also like that there is a sense of humour in Lynn Cahoon's writing. I'm looking forward to the next b00k she does.
