    Another great story

This is the second serie of books I read from this author, the first one was The sorcerer's ring, and I enjoy the stories very much. The only thing that I find annoying is the grammar, spelling and character errors. In some places the wrong character is referred to and this was present in both series. I would recommend to any fan of the genre to read both series as the stories are very good.

    Horrible writing and editing job

Worst books I have ever read. The author pretty much has one template for a chaper: resolve life or death situation from last time we saw character, advance plot a bit, character enters new life or death situation amd knows their going to die. Repeat for next chapter. On top of this a remote tower in a desolate area of the country somehow has enough boats just laying around for an army of thousands after the tower has been abandoned via ship by its protectors. A main charater running faster than his companions across a country that normally takes a week to cross, crosses it in a matter of hours and yet his companions are still with him. The writer blantently ignores all rules theg have written for the world when it suits their need and constantly forgets major details such as a main character is captured at the end of one chapter by another main character, then miraculously 4 chapters later the character continues on from pre capture and the capture is never mentioned again. I've never been unable to finish reading a book before but in this case it's too badly written to continue.
