  • Fun, Cute & Steamy

I thought that this was a fun read. Jo and Heath's story was cute and steamy. I loved the chemistry & heat that these two generated. The story held my attention and kept me entertained as I was charmed by these characters and basking in the sweet Feels they gave me. I am independently posting a candid review.

  • Loved it

5 star Review of Kismet (Happy Endings #3) by Lauren Blakely I loved this book and it is probably one of my favourite from Lauren Blakely. All it takes is one night to change the course of ones life. Jo has landed in London for a new job thanks to her company being sold. Her friends in New York suggest she find a stranger and have a one night stand. The connection between Heath and Jo is immediate, they both feel comfortable and both play with the idea of pursuing a relationship. However that all changes when to Jo’s shock the man she chose turns out to be the man who is also vying for the same position at the Auction house that she now works at. Heath is a bit of a grump but he loves books and loves art. He loves his family but he is not a people person and avoids getting to know the people he works with. All that changes when he is forced to work with Jo and despite their best intention feelings become involved. This book made me feel good. It made my laugh and left me with a smile on my face. The secondary characters only added to my enjoyment as they were just as engaging as the main couple.

  • So enjoyable!

Kismet is another enjoyable offering from Lauren Blakely. It can easily be read as a standalone even though it is part of a series. Josephine has just been transferred from the art house she had been working for in New York to the company who has bought them which is located in London. She’s not thrilled about heading to London for various reasons, but she’s going because the job is what she’s been looking for. Heath is a widower who is a bit older than Josephine, is thought by some to act older than his years. To me he was established in his job and doing his best to continue moving on from his wife’s death. When Jo and Heath meet at a bar, they spend a hot night together not thinking there would be any consequences. When Jo walked into her new job and was immediately met with Heath as her new partner they were both crushed given they wanted to see one another again. Will they be able to have their jobs and a relationship? I loved how this unfolded and how they really got to know one another. They connected on so many levels and it was great to see how their relationship continued to grow and flourish. This is definitely worth the read!

  • I Adored this Sweet, Enchanting Romance!

I adored this sweet, enchanting romance. Jo loves her life in New York, especially her friends, and her job. When she is excited about a promotion, she wasn't expecting that she would have to move to London for it. London holds some heartbreaking memories for her but she is determined to make a success of this new opportunity. Her friends talk her into finding a hot one night stand before she starts her new job and won't take the time to date. Jo is excited at the prospect and even prepares with an arsenal of cheesy pick-up lines. She charms a sexy Londoner one night and they really connect, having an explosive night together. They enjoyed each other so much they want to see more of each other. Unfortunately, when Jo starts her job, she finds out the sexy man is now her co-worker. Heath is a bit grumpy, loves to read, and is a widower. He hasn't wanted to date until he meets Jo. They have so much in common, and their chemistry is off the charts. I loved how they worked together, supported each other, and helped each other face their pasts. I enjoyed their witty and flirty banter, and how Heath helped Jo learn to love London again. Their love for each other is beautiful and an inspirational journey that warmed my heart. I really enjoyed this fun, witty, heartwarming, and sexy story.
