More emotional than I was expecting

Okay, I was expecting something light and fluffy, there are some light moments but this one got me right in the feels. Audrey Miller has lived in Kissing Creek her whole life with more responsibility than most women her age. She works two jobs supporting herself and her younger siblings. Her main goal to get them to college and out of their small town. Ronan Walsh is the new young professor who she mistakes for a student. She utters something embarrassing about the hot guy ordering coffee and is sure he is only posing as a faculty member for the discount. This whole scene is silly cute. They are both attracted to one another but Audrey has no plans of leaving her family and she's sure that Ronan will eventually leave the university the first chance he gets. Both are not looking for love but will they be able to avoid it? Thanks so much to Entangled and NetGalley for this ARC to review.

    Excellent read.

This starts with an untenable situation for most people and spirals into romance and a truly lovely HEA. All the feels are here, plus a few life lessons. Add this to your TBR list, along with a warm drink, this makes a sweet read.

    Loved!

Sweet, sexy, and fun - I loved this book! It opens with Audrey calling the new guy in town a sex robot.....in front of him, lol, - a great start to an entertaining novel. Audrey is a woman from the wrong side of the tracks with way too much responsibility for her age. She was forced to be the adult in her family since she was a teen. Unfortunately, when that happens, hard choices need to be made, and Audrey's was to sacrifice her education and happiness for her siblings welfare. Ronan is a sexy professor with family issues of his own. They are complete opposites, yet can't seem to stay away from each other. This book made me smile and fall in love with the characters. It does touch very lightly on domestic violence, but only to further demonstrate Audrey's character depth and life obstacles. While I liked Ronan, I really loved Audrey and found myself immersed in her life and wanting her to get a HEA ending. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list.

    Sweet & Sassy

Sweet, sassy, funny & heartwarming with a touch of angst thrown in for good measure! It starts out funny & lighthearted but then delves deeper. Have a tissue or two handy but not a whole box...Lighthearted enough to make you feel good with some deep situations to make it realistic. Be sure to check this one out!
