    I love the chaotic humor!

Weddings, chaos, stress? Who knew? This is another winner for Tracy Alvarez's Due South series. I recommend that it be read in order. A good book on it's own, I still believe it would be best read with background from the prior books. Although a short, this book has it all. The lead up to and wedding for Shay and Del. I love the humor, the family and friends, the glimpses into their backgrounds that make them who they are. Mostly, I like that these are people I could know in real life, dealing with situations that are realistic, so I can relate and laugh and stress with them. I also like the location and the wildlife. She is so descriptive I feel like I can see it. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for this review nor was I required to make a positive review. The opinions expressed here are my own .

    More awesomesauce and cupcakes

This is a fun read but far too short for me! As usual with the books in this series I inhaled it in one go but it was over all too soon. Also as usual I didn’t want it to end. If you’ve not read any of the series then don’t start with this one. At least read Shaye and Del’s story but really you should be starting at Book 1 and not missing any. Kissing the Bride is a short story that continues the series from the last book and takes us through the build-up to Del and Shaye’s wedding and the day itself. Shaye is totally over the top with her planning for the day to ensure that everything is perfect. She is stressed to the max but it’s worth it for her dream day. Nothing can possibly go wrong, can it? Alvarez has a way of surprising the reader at every turn and at times I wondered if the wedding of the century was ever going to happen. There’s lots going on and all the usual characters from the Stewart Island community are there too. This is a great read for those of us in withdrawal and hanging out for the next full size book in the series. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

    Happily Ever After!!

This is a great quick read revolving around Due South's favourite head & sous chef's Del & Shaye (Ready To Burn....go and read it!!). The Due South series is fantastic and this book follows Del & Shaye in the lead up to their wedding. Tracey continues with the humour & warmth of the series with some spicy bits!! This book was a lovely way to give Del & Shaye the happily ever after you wanted for them. I have read the whole series up to date and highly recommend it, I've bought nearly all the books and put in my pre-order so I don't miss release dates!! I was privileged enough to receive a free copy of this book and have provided an honest review. This is my own opinion and I was not compensated for my review nor required to write a positive review.

    funny, sexy, romantic!

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'm a huge fan of Tracey Alvarez's Due South series. To get the most out of this short novella of Del and Shaye's wedding you really have to read at least their full length story, but it helps to read the series in order to get to know all the characters. This was a fun, sexy, romantic update on Del and Shaye in the 7 days leading up to their wedding. It's like a standalone epilogue - a great way to find out what happens with a hero and heroine after the HEA in their book. As always Ms. Alvarez tells an engaging story - this one had me laughing out loud in parts and then swooning with the romantic wedding in the end.

    One HOT pre-wedding week!

Once again, Tracey has brought out all the characters in Oban and has made them all an integral part of Shay and Del's pre-wedding plans and activities. This story even stars Shay's notebook of “All Things Nuptial” which suffers severe trauma right at the start and a gigantic sea lion named Boris. What could have been a boring “everything that can go wrong” wedding story had more than enough unusual twists to keep me laughing at the funny parts, holding my breath at the tense parts. It isn't all laughs, such as when Shay tries to prove she is “spontaneous” and pulls a stunt that brings the memory of Del's dead ex-girlfriend front and center. It makes Shay and the reader wonder if she has finally screwed it up one too many times. But you just know Del isn't about to let Shay get away, after all they have been through together and apart and now finally together again. Right? But it wouldn't be a Tracey Alvarez story if it didn't have angst amid the fun and HEA and it is all here in a very enjoyable story about Shay and Del's wedding. I was given an ARC of this story for an honest review and received no compensation.
