  • Enjoyed this one

Sally ends up involved in another murder case, when Brian is considered the main suspect. He was found standing over the body a dead woman, an old friend of both Sally and Brian's, and the murder weapon was Brian's own gun. With no one else he can trust, Sally is asked to help. And as much as Mike gets frustrated with Sally's amateurish detective work, he also knows she can't say no to a friend. I really like this series and the characters in it - from Sally and her quirky family members, to Josie, and even Brian. The stories always have a mystery to solve, but are also focused on family and relationships. I liked this addition to the series.

  • Marvelous, laugh out loud, cozy mystery

Knee Deep in Dough is another wonderful book in this marvelous, laugh out loud series. Sally and all the marvelous characters return for the latest adventure. There is family drama, murder, twists, turns, and a wrongly suspected lawman. Will Sally be able to clear Brian's name? You will not want to miss the action in this well written, fast paced drama! I could not put it down!

  • Who killed Kelsey?

Although 10th in the series, this book could still be read as a standalone. Sally and Mike are out for their 3rd Anniversary with friends Josie and Rob. Josie plans to make a delivery of their famous fortune cookies to a nightmare of a bride, who is the sister of old friend Kelsey. Kelsey also used to date their friend Brian Jenkins many years ago, but they broke up and Kelsey left town. Before they leave for home, Kelsey is found dead, and Brian is the main suspect for her murder. There are lots of twists and turns in this story that leads to a shocker ending. This is one of the best of the series and I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries.
