    Loved it!

LOVED this book! I found it so refreshing to read a book where the hero isn't a commitmentphobe and is actually craving a permanent relationship and family. While the relationship between Braxton and Cara may not have had a traditional beginning I thought they worked wonderfully together and that they could make it if they gave it a chance. I also really liked how Braxton didn't really fit the first impression everyone has of him. He may look like a tatted up bad boy but his heart is big and he loves hard. I couldn't help but cheer for Braxton and Cara to find a way to make things work. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

    Loved Braxton!

I'm pretty sure I'm in love with Braxton. I loved that he looked like a tattoo bad boy but was big softie at heart. All he really wanted was a family of his own. With so many books where the Hero is afraid to commit, it's wonderful to find the ones who want the whole package. Braxton is the owner of several tattoo parlors. He had an addict for a mom and dad that never stuck around. He had a role model in his life that helped him grow into a better man than his parents or his background. Cara is the daughter of rich parents who don't see her and when they do, they expect perfection from her. It takes the death of Cara's brother to make her realize she will never be enough for them and to start living her life her way. Cara's a good heroine but I thought she was crazy for not jumping in feet first with Braxton. She was more of a level head and wanted to take things slow. As reasonable as that is, I still wish she let Braxton in more. This is one of my more favorite accidental pregnancy stories and that is all due to Braxton and how he handles the situation and Cara. I enjoyed seeing Jenna and Dan again and I would love to get Graham's story. ARC provided by NetGalley.

    Fun reverse romance

I would start by describing this book as a reverse romance. It begins with a one night stand that results in a pregnancy. Cara has never had a one night stand before and panicking, leaves before Braxton wakes up and things get awkward. Things got a whole lot more awkward when she went to his tattoo parlour to tell him she was pregnant and threw up all over his office! What follows is a sweet, sometimes sexy, ultimately funny getting to know you romance between two fabulous characters. Things do not progress smoothly, there are a few gasp moments but ultimately this was a complete pleasure to read. If you are looking for a relatively quick, fun, enjoyable read with it’s share of ups and downs then I think this may be the book for you. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this really well written tale. I look forward to reading more work by Stacey Lynn I received an arc copy by Stacey Lynn and Social Butterfly PR in exchange for my honest review

Loved this Sexy and Sweet Romance!!!

4.5 STARS Knocked Up is the perfect combination of sexy and sweet. It’s the love story of two people who do everything backwards...baby then dating!!! Cara is the last woman you would expect to have a one-night stand, but she does at her best friend’s wedding with a man who is so completely different from her. She thinks she will never see him again, even though she would LOVE to. However, she gets more than she ever bargained for...a baby on the way! “...life wouldn’t be life if it didn’t throw you a curveball every once in a while.” Life has just thrown both Braxton and Cara a major curveball! I really like both characters. Stacey Lynn did such a great job of making both of them so relatable and loveable. She did that by giving her readers a look into both of their pasts and how that helped make them the people they were in the present. Cara grew up with wealthy parents, but she was always seen as a “distraction and annoyance.” Her parents really were clueless and completely unfeeling. However, she had an amazing relationship with her brother, and that is what helped her step out of living her life for her parents and finally taking a chance to live a life that made her happy. Braxton was a big source of support for her. Braxton grew up very differently than Cara...not a lot of money. However, he had a man in his life who was always there and helped shape him into the great man he is. Braxton really is a great man. Of course, he is gorgeous, but it’s who he is on the inside that drew me to him. Instead of running from his responsibility, he ran towards it. Not only does he want his baby, but he wants Cara too. He is willing to pull out all the stops to get her. There is a bit of misunderstandings and miscommunication between them that cause some angst, but it doesn’t overwhelm the underlying storyline. I so enjoyed watching these virtual strangers get to know each other and learning how to be parents together, all while falling in love with one another!
